Work Text:
Fun Ghoul and Party Poison sat alone in the diner while the others were assisting a few ‘joys in a clap against ‘crows. Poison had been injured in a previous attack and wasn’t willing to risk going out when they couldn’t stand for very long. Ghoul opted to stay with them, though Jet Star saw this as an opportunity for the shortest Killjoy to be with his boyfriend for the day. Party Poison dismissed the assumption, though was happy to be alone with him.
After a half hour of talking, Fun Ghoul stood up and reached a hand out to Party Poison, helping them up from the booth. “I think it’s getting to be ‘alone time’ for us.” Poison couldn’t help but agree. “You know I’m always up for a little dress rehearsal. Your room tonight?”

As Fun Ghoul and Party Poison entered the former’s room in the diner, the two ‘joys shedded out of their jackets before tossing themselves onto the mattress while kissing passionately. Their hands roamed each other's bodies, igniting a fire of desire between them.
As the intimacy between them progressed, a song resurfaced from the back of Poison’s mind. They had heard it before, and had finally found the right moment to recite the lyrics.
“Just for this moment, as long as you’re mine.
Come be how you want to, and see how bright we shine.
Borrow the moonlight until it is through.
And know I’ll be here, holding you.
As long as you’re mine.”
After another lengthy kiss, Ghoul, who had his hearing aids out, sighed softly before signing to Poison, I love you.
Signing in response, Poison replied, I love you too, Ghoulie.
If there’s anything that the two Killjoys knew, it’s that no matter what BLi threw at them, nothing could overpower their love for each other.
And the Fab Four—and Motorbaby, who saw the importance of their relationship—wouldn’t have it any other way.
