As Bucky stood before Steve, wondering how the fuck he was going to explain what he'd done, he knew that he only had himself to blame. After all, it was his eyes that had read the letter. His fingers that had hand written a reply. His god damn money that had paid for the stamp, stuck it on the envelope and sent it off with no chance of ever getting it back.
