He has a sickness called labyrinthitis.
Labyrinthitis is an inflammation of the inner ear's labyrinth—the delicate, fluid-filled network responsible for balance and spatial awareness.
His head aches and the room spins no matter what he does.
So he ignores it. Hides it. Continues his duties like nothing is wrong.
