chuuya is one of dazai's many lovers, chuuya handles dazai's work affairs and shoo away those clingy women for him, people say that chuuya Is one of the people who stayed the longest at dazai's side the longest, he even promised to marry chuuya,

Chuuya carefully begged her "please give it back to me" the woman sneered "in that case, get on your knees and beg for it" chuuya knelt down without hesitation, the woman smirked not understanding why chuuya could be so shameless just for some bracelet, chuuya begged her again, but woman turned towards the ocean and threw the bracelet in the sea,
before the woman had the chance to speak, chuuya already jumped in the sea wanting to get the bracelet back, the bracelet was shirase's keepsake focusing on only retrieving the bracelet, chuuya completely forgot that his injuries aren't fully healed from the car accident, chuuya struggled in the water, still trying to retrieve bracelet,
dazai ordered the security to rescue chuuya back onto the shore, chuuya tried to jump back in the sea, but the security guard grabbed chuuya's hand, reopening the wound from the car accident, the seawater turned red with chuuya's blood, chuuya cried helplessly, he couldn't find the bracelet, he's gonna lose shirase,
in the next few days, chuuya went to shirase's grave, chuuya hugged shirase's tombstone, crying loudly "shirase I miss you so much, I fulfilled your wish for you, can I come visit you so we can never be apart again..?"
A hand grabbed chuuya's shoulders, pulling chuuya away from the tombstone, dazai's cold face and unreadable eyes suddenly appeared, he asked enunciating every word "chuuya in your heart, am i good as a dead man?"
Chuya finally snapped, he has been suppressing his anger for years just to fulfill shirase's dying wish, "Have you had no shame? You're just newly married and you're asking me this ridiculous question?! Why would I give space in my heart just for YOU" chuuya stood up and brushed dazai's hand off, he packed his stuff up and left,
dazai was left dumbfounded and confused, he was confused on what made chuuya snap like that, after all.. he only remembered chuuya being a loyal dog, he never bothered to focus on other details, meanwhile with chuuya, chuuya felt free, he doesn't want to stay by that asshole's side, chuuya has been holding in his resentment from dazai for years
The years passed by, chuuya finally resigned and worked in another company named 'port mafia', the port mafia is completely different from the last company chuuya worked for, no one is talking shit behind his back, the port mafia is much better than the last company he worked for, the port mafia felt like his family, chuuya got in a friend group called 'the flags' in the port mafia.
