Sora, Donald and Goofy hopped aboard their Gummi Ship. San Fransokyo is full of technology, but, Sora is grateful to be leaving it all, since he's not too fond of technology, let alone, how it all works. Hiro had to tell Sora that the Heartless he saw before wasn't a real Heartless, but just a hologram. It made it kind of difficult for him to tell the difference between hologram and reality. Thankfully, Hiro had turned the hologram portion off after he finished his training with him.
Hiro had also explained what a car was. Sora's been to many worlds, but he's never seen any with cars, trucks, motorcycles, or any other sort of transportation vehicle before. However, if this world has one, who's saying other worlds won't? After all, some worlds seem more advanced than others, like San Fransokyo, with cars, computers, and other electronic devices known as technology. After all, the year before, he, Donald and Goofy were sucked inside a large computer, where they met Tron and rode around on bikes that left dangerous trails of light behind the vehicle.
Growing up on Destiny Islands, he doesn't get to interact much with technology, vehicles or electricity. The only thing he had was fish, water, sand, crabs, any other sort of seafood, and palm trees. Of course, there's a few kids his age to play around with, like Wakka, Tidus and Sylphie, but there's nothing much to do with technology or electricity.
San Fransokyo has aspects of reality and technology inside, mixed in together in such a wonderful blend that Sora could easily get by. Donald and Goofy adjusted to the technology much quicker than he did. Perhaps they have technology and electricity in their world? After all, there is a version of himself in the computer somewhere, comprised of just Sora's memories, in which they call Data Sora. Donald and Goofy said they went inside the computer to help Data Sora fix the glitches inside the memories and journal entries, put there by Namine. All in all, it's rather confusing, but Sora, Donald and Goofy make do with what they have.
"Goodbye, Hiro!" Sora called, waving from the window. "Wasabi! Honey, GoGo, Fred! Baymax!"
"See you, Sora!" Hiro called, waving back.
"I'll come back to visit!" Sora cheered. "You can count on it!"
"Sora get your head inside the ship if you want to drive!" Donald called.
"Bye!" Sora called one last time before getting back inside the ship and rolling up the window.
Sora took over the wheel from Donald, who had finally loosened up enough to let Sora drive. Sora flew in a circle in the air first, above Hiro and his friends, before blasting out of the atmosphere and into space.
He gently floated past a few meteors first before stopping. A large cloud, possibly a nebula, dissipated while they were in San Fransokyo, and had now given way to new worlds. "Ooh! New path!" Sora cheered.
"Let's go then!" Donald cheered.
"Wonder who we'll meet?" Goofy asked.
"Only one way to find out," Sora said, smiling. He pushed the Gummi ship forward, through a stream of gas and dust speeding past. "Woohoo!" Sora cheered.
"Can we not go through the speeding dust?" Donald asked, gripping his seat tightly.
"Were's your sense of fun, Donald?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, loosen up a little, ahyuck," Goofy laughed.
Sora turned the ship around an asteroid. Here, he found a small world, decorated the same as the others. The top half of this world is blue, with buildings lined up neatly and perfectly symmetrical. The other half of the world is darkened with smoke and clouds, red and beaten up buildings lined up in uneven and imperfect patterns. "Ooh, what's that one?" Sora asked, pointing at it through the window. Donald and Goofy stood from their chairs and walked closer to the window to see the world.
"Huh," Donald said.
"That's odd," Goofy agreed.
"What, what's wrong?" Sora asked.
"That's Seabrook," Goofy replied. "But it's not usually supposed to be out here."
"Yeah, it's supposed to be in a different system," Donald added.
"A different system?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, a different part of space," Donald said.
"Perhaps this world was pushed around," Jiminy said, hopping onto Sora's shoulder. "I have heard of some world that get pushed around by cosmic winds."
"Oh, that sounds exciting," Sora said. "But I thought planets can't get pushed around like that?"
"These worlds are unusually light, they don't have much of a gravity keeping them in their orbit," Jiminy said. "I mean, the worlds are rather small." Sora pulled the Gummi Ship to a stop in front of the new world. "Seabrook..." he muttered to himself. "Let's see what new friends I make here."
