Summary:

Just so ya'll know—I've only read the first book (and watched the first movie), and read a few chapters of the 2nd book.

Work Text:

Gally was laying in bed, staring at the sky. It wasn't really pretty, maybe if there were stars Speaking of which why weren't they showing? He groaned and rolled onto his side, the grass was itchy, it was cold-but hot at the same time. He was honestly just miserable. He shifted once before letting out a pretty audible groan, and then a twig snapped near the others. He looked up and jumped a bit, Minho was standing right there.

"Can't sleep?"

Gally shook his head, and tried to relax. He was still obviously tense.

"It's just... Uncomfortable."

Minho nodded, and sat down next to him.

Gally didn't move, but he did tense up. He hesitated before speaking:

"Why're you over here?"

Minho shrugged, and fidgeted a bit, looking back up at Gally and then he spoke again:

"I was just wanting to see if you were awake-even though you usually are."

Minho quit talking after realizing how weird that sounded-especially because he said he was checking Gally specifically.

“Oh, okay..."

"So... what do you want to do?"

(Silence)

Minho sighed and laid down next to Gally, not close enough to touch, but enough to feel the heat of the other's body. He looked over at Gally:

"Don't know. Sleep?"

Gally squirmed a bit and rolled over to face Minho, his face burned red not quite with embarrassment.

The grass... Was really starting to get on Gally's nerves. It was itchy, and they weren't even near anything but small patches of it.

Minho cut Gally off before he could speak:

"So, by-uncomfortable... Do you mean like... Hot? Cold? Humid?"

"It's both. It's uncomfortably both."

Minho snorted, and immediately got a wack on the arm from Gally.

"It's not funny! Stop laughing."

Minho rolled his eyes at Gally, and rolled onto his back.

"You're moving a lot there, Gally."

Gally rolled his eyes, and let out a small groan-Not obvious if it's from annoyance or the irritation on his back:

"Thanks, Captain Obvious. The grass is being weird... It feels like it's crawling..."

Minho gagged at Gally's description. Who describes something making them itchy like that?

“Okay, so... You're no longer allowed to describe stuff. You make it sound disgusting.”

Gally rolled his eyes, but couldn't argue; The way he had explained that wasn't normal, and did sound disgusting.

"So-"

(Awkward Silence!!)

Gally groaned when Minho tried to start talking, and rolled onto his side. He could no longer tell what part of his body was cold and why, the heat was the same. It... It was miserable.

"Do you want to sit in silence?"

(Pause)

"Actually that sounds wonderful, especially since we're both tired."

Minho sighed and rolled onto his side, his back towards Gally.

Gally stared at his back, and hesitantly shifted a bit closer. Most of his body was cold now, and Minho's body heat was really warm.

"What are you doing?"

Gally froze when he heard Minho's voice, he hesitated, stuttering over words:

"N-Nothing."

Minho rolled onto his other side so he was now facing Gally, he didn't seem mad, or anything like that. Just tired. His voice showed that when he spoke:

"You still cold?"

Gally didn't respond for a while, but he did finally give a small, hesitant nod.

Minho let out a sound-Not quite a sigh, but... That was as close as you could get to naming it. The sound of fabric rustling was heard, before Minho wrapped his arms around Gally's waist.

Gally tensed up at the feeling, but melted into the touch. He could feel the cold being replaced by seeping warmth. He let out a small sigh of contentment.

Minho raised an eyebrow, and smiled softly:

"You okay?"

Gally nodded against his chest, burying his face in Minho's neck:

"I'm good... You're warm."

Minho giggled a bit, but managed to stop himself before he could laugh and wake others up. He laid his chin on Gally' shoulder, letting himself relax:

"Ya know... For someone who claims to be "good" you sure are being clingy right now."

Gally's ears burn with embarrassment, and his face was flushed red once again:

"Stop talking. You're too vocal for someone who claims to be... To be tired."

Gally let out a small yawn in the middle of speaking, but didn't say anything else.

Minho looked down at Gally's face, he was already falling asleep---Minho could feel himself doing the same:

“How are you gonna explain clinging to me, if you don't wake up early like you usually do?"

Gally froze, he never considered that...

"When have I ever slept in?"

Minho thought about it, and Gally did make a great point. He almost never slept in, not unless he was sick:

"Fair enough, I guess."
