Chapter Text
You're on the couch watching a movie.
You sit between them, roughly equal space on both sides: Sam on one side, Dean on the other. Safe. Neutral. Balanced. The cushions dip slightly under your weight. The movie plays, some action thing Dean picked, explosions and one-liners bleeding into white noise.
You're exhausted. Last night went too late. Again.
The movie hums along, but your eyelids get heavy. Each blink lasts longer. Your body starts to list sideways without permission, gravity making the choice for you.
You shift without thinking, leaning sideways, and your head settles against Sam's arm.
Oh.
Your brain snaps awake just long enough to panic.
Too obvious.
Pull back.
No… wait.
Would you do this with another friend?
…Yeah. Probably. You think you have before.
It's fine.
Sleep wins.
You drift in and out, barely aware of the moment you fully give in, your weight settling more comfortably against him. Your breathing evens out. Your body relaxes like it trusts this completely. The warmth of him soaks through your shoulder, your temple. Solid. Safe.
