Wednesday Addams is a successful author. A very successful author. She lives in a haunted pre-war converted firehouse in TriBeCa, which she bought from her own earnings. She has achieved everything she has ever wanted.
In fact her Viper de la Muerte books are about to be adapted into a show by Netflix.
The third book in the series came out earlier in the year and shot up to the number one slot on all of the bestsellers lists. Booktok is obsessed with her series and heroine Viper, and her will they, won’t they relationship with her associate and situationship Tyson.
Which is why she had begrudgingly agreed to a show/book tie-in release party at a bookstore in Jericho, the town that boasted her alma mater Nevermore University, where she would also give a talk, being one of the most successful alumni.
Bianca Barclay, her old classmate, and reluctant friend, and now publicist had planned it to coincide with their friends Enid and Ajax’s wedding, happening the following weekend.
Of course Enid being Enid thought it would be most sentimental and romantic to get married in the town where she and Ajax had first met. Where they all attended the prestigious school.
Wednesday would have tried to find a way to avoid it if she was not the maid of honor. Especially considering that the best man was Tyler Galpin, her ex who she had not seen in years. Not since he had proposed to her, and she had said no.
