Summary
Wednesday couldn’t fathom the idea of being another silly teenage girl who blushed at the thought of her boyfriend offering his jacket for her to wear. Especially because the intention wouldn’t be to keep herself warm, but to simply wear it as a reminder that she had a boyfriend who adored her enough to share his clothes with her. She could feel herself cringe at the thought.
There was no way she’d let her desires be known to Tyler either. She could see it unfold in front of her eyes already—the constant teasing and the adamant offers of “Are you sure you don’t want to borrow my jacket again?”. He’d smother her with affection, and that’s not the type of torture she could see herself enjoying.

“No, it's okay Malfoy I-”
“C’mon I know the Golden Girl is busy but she can spare one moment with an old schoolmate.”
School mate? Draco Malfoy was more than just a schoolmate to Hermione Granger. He was a bully. A tormenter who took every opportunity to remind her of her lineage. She was a muggle-born. Mudblood. The scar on her arm has faded over the years, but up close, the faint white lines still remain.
Another thing that's faded is the sneer Hermione had once thought was permanently stuck to Malfoy's face. Instead, it's been replaced with a grin that pokes out a small dimple on his cheek.
His eyes, though. While they seemed to be lighter and hazy from the alcohol, a shadow lingered within them - something dark, something familiar. It’s not directed toward her though. Maybe it's yet another thing waiting to fade.
