So, Kiss Me on The Mouth, and Love Me like a Sailor

Summary:

"You have another, biological, parent?" Jophiel asked before realizing how stupid that question was.

"…Look me in the eyes Jophiel and tell me that you, fully, believed that I had come from my, human-ish, father as a turkey!" Cynikka exclaimed exasperatedly.

"Well, Fluixon is a crow…"

Or:

A little Cynphiel fic because I wanted something to heal my soul. I love them, and decided to write some fluff about it.

Work Text:

Cynikka's grandparents were out for some business that weekend allowing them to invite Jophiel during it. That's how the two of them ended up on the couch watching some corny romance movie.

Jophiel was sitting on the left side of the couch, the box of popcorn the two of them had originally shared in her lap. She was wearing a dark green-ish hoodie that Cynikka had told her was the color 'Zydeco', but Jophiel guessed they were just trying to act smart. She also had on some looser, black pants.

Jophiel suddenly heard a buzz from her right to find that Cynikka's phone had gotten a notification. Cynikka was nuzzled up against Jophiel's side, which had happened because the two of them had watched a horror movie. The said horror movie had led to Cynikka moving from the right side of the couch to Jophiel's side, half-asleep now by the looks of it.

"Hey, Cyn," Jophiel called, lightly nudging their wing. Cynikka groggily sat up and Jophiel pointed to their phone that had lit up with another notification.

Cynikka reached out to the armrest the phone was on pulling it into the crook between their legs and chest. After a few seconds they started to type something. Jophiel could make out that it was their messages app.

"Who are you texting?" Jophiel asked as she leaned to rest her head on top of Cynikka's.

"My dad," they responded, one of their wings coming behind Jophiel and to wrap around her side.

"I thought you hated your dad?" Jophiel tilted her head in confusion, the small wings tilting down with her.

"I'm not talking about Elanuelo, I'm talking about my other one, Turkey," Cynikka explained as another message popped up on their phone.

"Because his other dad is literally named Crow and is a crow avian!" Cynikka put their face in their hands and wrapped their wings around themselves.

Jophiel could only laugh at Cynikka's embarresment. "Nooo, I'm sorry, Cyn," Jophiel pleaded with false regret. Her hand ruffled Cynikka's hair, which earned her a surprised yelp and a feathery smack to her side that sent her against the left armrest.

"You little-" Jophiel mumbled before scooting back over to playfully tackle Cynikka into the couch, their phone tumbling to the floor.

"Get off me you… you idiot!" Cynikka exclaimed before Jophiel quickly shut them up with a small kiss.

Jophiel looked down at Cynikka, and had to stop herself from laughing at how utterly flustered the other was. Jophiel's hands were gripping Cynikka's shoulders, slightly pulling their marroon jacket off their shoulders.

Cynikka looked up and noticed Jophiel trying to hold back her laughter, "Wha- Hey!" Cynikka lightly punched Jophiel's chest when the other couldn't hold back her laughter. "Why did I ever agree to date you?" Cynikka mumbled, turning her head to the side.

Jophiel took the opportunity to nuzzle her head in Cynikka's neck while the other was distracted. Cynikka stiffened underneath Jophiel for a moment before one of their hands came up to tangle in Jophiel's hair and the other to rest on her back.

"This is going to demolish my back and wings in the morning," Cynikka mumbled to no one in particular.

"You'll be fine, besides, tomorrow's Sunday you won't need them anyways," Jophiel replied, lightly kissing Cynikka's neck.

Cynikka tried to say something back, but Jophiel silenced them with a small yelp as she lightly nipped at their neck.

"Jophiel!" Cynikka lightly tugged at her hair, pulling Jophiel back until their eyes met. "You… you absolute annoyance…" they managed to mumble.

"Takes one to know one," Jophiel replied, a grin forming on her face.
