   Summary

   Lucanis and Rook Dellamorte-de Riva complete a perfectly ordinary assassination. Their knives were not quite as sharp as usual—they had been distracted the night before—but as always, they excel at the job at hand despite minor setbacks. This time, however, they somehow return home with a child, because she informed them it was what she was owed. Right.
