   “I've seen you when you thought you had nothing to live for. I know this isn't the same.”

   “I love you,” Fushiguro whispered. It almost sounded like a thank you, like Itadori's love was something Fushiguro was grateful for. When Itadori had needed a purpose, Fushiguro had tasked Itadori with saving him. And it was Itadori's love that had done that. Fushiguro was thankful, then and now, that Itadori still thought he was worth saving.

   “For however long I have left, I will never stop loving you,” Itadori told him. That had been a line in his wedding vows, which Itadori had written himself.
