The smell of chocolate filled the air in the Rito dorm kitchen, it’s valentine day, everyone want to prepare something for a friend, or a crush, or a lover, so it was too crowded, but Nakayama prefers to be in this backed room instead of being in their dorm kitchen and Sirius catch her making valentine chocolate
Nakayama loves giving gifts, she never truly felt nervous giving Sirius something, she used to bring random things for Sirius after outings with her friends, but now she finds herself thinking too deeply about everything, Sirius never been a picky person and she does appreciate anything she gets from her, but Nakayama can’t help overthinking about it
her and Sirius started officially dating three months ago, and they’ve crossed the lines of being just friends way longer than that, so being in a relationship doesn’t feel very strange since they just continue to do the same things they were doing but with a different title, but the title gives the actions much deeper meanings
They’re girlfriends now, not just roommates
“aaaand, it’s done!!”
Gold Ship shouted excitedly as she gives the bow on the box a little tug, holding it in her hands to check out her work one more time before looking at Nakayama next to her pouring all of her attention on covering her box in the glittery paper she got from Tosen Jordan earlier, then wrapping it with a white bow
“Don’t you wanna put a letter too?” Gold Ship asked, placing her box on the table again
“Nah, I think this is fine” she said, smiling proudly looking at her work “are you writing a letter?” Nakayama asked the other uma, and her jaw dropped when Gold Ship pulled out of her pocket a rolled up paper that was the size of her head, leaving it to roll over the floor, hitting other umas on the way and she got yelled at by someone in the back for making a fuss when everyone is busy
“Are you serious? McQueen isn’t gonna read all that” she said with shock in her eyes that’s following the paper rolling past her feet, and there was actual words on it..
“Oh, she won’t” her confused eyes went back to Gold Ship, watching her rolling up the paper again “I’m gonna read it to her”
“what did you even write? you’re not just writing random words to mess with her, are you?”
“Of course not! What do you think of me!” she complained giving Nakayama a little prickle on the head “I wrote my true deep feelings for her, listen!” she unwrapped it again, and Nakayama couldn’t stop her wide eyes from looking at the rest of the paper rolling on the ground, it’s impressive how she actually wrote something this long
“My dear lovely girlfriend Mejiro McQueen, I’m happy to spend another valentine with you, and to celebrate our third valentine together I’ve wrote everything I love about you!”
Nakayama crossed her arms over her chest while listening to her, it’s more impressive how it’s actually cute and sincere, she’s not being silly even though she’s speaking with her silly voice that she changed it to a deeper tone while reciting the next words
“I love your hair, so beautiful and smooth, and I love the way it gets messy when you wake up in the morning. I love your eyes, so soft and tender, gazing lovingly upon me even when you’re mad at me. I love your cheeks, so squishy and soft to bite.”
Nakayama’s shoulders tensed feeling the silence that suddenly reign over the kitchen, and she turned to see the confused, grossed out and even fangirling eyes of other umas in the kitchen watching them “this is not for me!! she didn’t write this about me!” she quickly cleared her name, and their attention went back to what they were doing ignoring Gold Ship who continued reading her letter out loud
“I love your nose, so adorable with the little scrunch you do when you’re angry. I love your lips—“
“You can skip that part, Golshi”
“—so velvet and sweet, the feeling of them on mine, I crave it every day and night.”
“I said skip it!!”
“I love your shoulders, so comfortable to lay my head on them. I love your small boobs, so mushy-“
Nakayama quickly shoved her hands onto the taller uma’s face to shut her mouth when she felt the weird looks upon them again “alright you can stop!!”
She sighed taking her hands away when she saw Gold Ship rolling up the paper again, sulking “you still didn’t hear the part of how much I love her on the inside too”
“I definitely do not need to hear that part!”
Nakayama pulled down her folded sleeves, taking the wrapped box to put it in her bag before placing it on her shoulder
“Wait!” Gold Ship stopped her before she could leave, and Nakayama turned back “I’m not gonna listen to the rest of your weird letter”
“Not that” She chuckled seeing Nakayama crossing her arms “have you decided how are you gonna give the gift to Sirius?”
She frowns at the question “what do you mean? I’m just gonna hand it to her when I get back”
the smile faded from Gold Ship face replaced with a shocked expression, sighing and shaking her head
“ahh.. Nakayama, you’re so unromantic! I feel so bad for your girlfriend”
“I feel bad for your girlfriend too who will hear what you wrote about her small boobs and her insides”
She stood there watching Gold Ship putting the paper back in her pocket, taking her own chocolate box then followed Nakayama out of the kitchen
“You can’t just throw it at her face, it’s valentine!”
“What? Do I have to recite a letter about how much I love her big boobs before-“ she said sarcastically, but quickly stopped when she saw Gold Ship opening her mouth to say something and cut her off “I’m not gonna do that!” she sighed when the white haired uma laughed
“Fine, but at least tell her ‘I love you’ while giving it out to her!”
Nakayama tightened her fingers on the bag straps over her shoulder, it’s embarrassing, romance isn’t really her thing and she can’t play it cool pretending to be romantic because she gets flustered so easily and Sirius will start teasing her
Still, it’s their first valentine together..
“or, you can lay on the bed naked with red petals around you and feed her the chocolate from your mouth”
“you need to stop talking, you really do”

Nakayama managed to get back to the dorm room before Sirius, she was just gonna give it to her but now Gold Ship is on her head telling her she should do it romantically
sitting on the bed with the wrapped box in her hands, her mind was racing back and forth trying to think of any way to how she would do it, because she’s not gonna do what Gold Ship suggested earlier
The sound of the key in the door pulled her out of her thoughts, Nakayama quickly jumped off the bed to hide the box in her desktop drawer, turning back to close it with her back, arms folded and elbows leaning on top of the desk behind her looking at Sirius walking into the room, and the other noticed the panicked look on her face
“What’s wrong?” Sirius asked, closing the door and walking to her girlfriend who leaned backwards seeing her coming closer
“Nothing!” she stuttered, gulping watching Sirius towering over her, smiling and tilting her head as she leans closer “i just.. didn’t think you’d come back so early” she lied, trying not to avoid the eye contact
“Well, it’d be cruel of me to leave my girlfriend alone on valentine day”
Nakayama sighed when she felt some warmth rushing into her cheeks, rolling her eyes and moving her arms off the desk to stand straight, stepping closer and wrapping her arms around Sirius’s waist, and her lips left a peck on the corner of Sirius’s mouth, smiling when she flinched in surprise at the sudden touch
“I’m glad you’re back” she whispered, trying not to sound too awkward, but the nervousness faded when she saw the other blushing, and a wide smile took over her face as she wrapped her arms around Nakayama’s neck
“Don’t tell me that was my ‘welcome home’ kiss? you barely touched my lips” Sirius whispered, leaning closer as her eyes focused on her target, Nakayama’s lips, while licking her own
“so greedy” Nakayama chuckles, squatting down to break free from Surius hold before she could steal a kiss “hey..!” it’s amusing listening to her whines
“you need to control it, young lady” she jokes, laying back on her bed watching the other uma still standing at her desk, Nakayama couldn’t hold back the laugh seeing her frowning
“Oh, come on… I’m sorry” she stretched her arms forward signalling to Sirius to coms over, smiling seeing her dropping the bag off her shoulder and walking over
they didn’t break the eye contact, and Nakayama can feel her breath getting heavier watching Sirius gets on top of her, her hands travelling over her girlfriend’s back until she leaned down, feeling a pair of hands on her hips, she closed her eyes slowly until their lips touched
Just softness and tenderness, Sirius took her time gently pressing her lips against the other’s, feeling Nakayama running her fingers through her hair, another arm wrapped around the back of her shoulders to keep her close, while both of her legs tangled around Sirius’s thighs forcing her lower body to fall against her
Sirius was trying to control it, but Nakayama clearly doesn’t want her to
so she moved her lips to press another kiss with her tongue glazing over Nakayama’s top lip, and her hands traveled from holding her hips to sneaking under her pyjamas shirt
But something she forgot earlier suddenly sparked back in her mind when she felt another tongue touching hers, and she pulled back
“Ah- wait” she said under her breath, smiling looking at her girlfriend’s annoyed expression underneath her, she let her legs and arms slip off Sirius to let her get off the bed “we can do that later, but now..” her eyes followed Sirius going to her side of the room, she opened her nightstand drawer and pulled out a green envelope with golden frills on the sides “we have somewhere else to be” she said, turning to Nakayama with a smile on her face watching the other sitting up looking at what she’s holding “can’t let our first valentine go to waste”

In the passenger seat, Nakayama was holding the envelope in her hands, brushing her thumb over the name of a restaurant written in curvy letters
she felt lame, Sirius didn’t hesitate to invite her out, yet she still couldn’t even tell her girlfriend she got her something too
her eyes looked over at Sirius in the driver seat, wearing a grey suit pants and a white shirt with the first few buttons opened showing her necklace, rolled up sleeves, her hands on the steering wheel, golden bracelets hanging from her wrists, and a few rings on different fingers
Nakayama had a short black jeans on with a blue hoodie, and of course her usual beanie, but she held her messy hair in a low ponytail
The drive to the restaurant was short, it sure looked fancy, she wouldn’t expect anything less than that from Sirius
“Let’s go” she tuned to other turning off the car after parking it, and she opened the door to get off it, standing there after closing the door waiting for Sirius, and the other came to her side with her arm extended, Nakayama smiled and took her hand, intertwining their fingers together before walking in
Nakayama was mesmerised looking around the place while Sirius talking to the front desk about the reservation
“Oh, and what about my request?” the violet eyes that was observing the place stopped to look at Sirius, watching her smile widening when the woman behind the front desk nodded
“What is it?” she asked, but Sirius didn’t answer, so she looked at the other woman taking something from a box behind her, and her eyes widened slightly seeing her placing a huge bouquet or red roses over the counter, and Sirius untwined their hands to take it, turning towards Nakayama with the same gentle smile on her face, but it widened seeing the blush taking over her partner’s face, presenting the bouquet to her
“Happy Valentines, puppy”
Nakayama frowns nervously, keeping her eyes on the flowers to avoid making eye contact with Sirius, she doesn’t know if she’s feeling embarrassed or just nervous, reaching to take the bouquet into her arms, and the cold petals brushed against her flushed hot cheek
she blinked slowly before looking up at Surius, and the other but her inner cheek to stop herself from teasing the shy uma
“Shall we go?”
she said with a giggle she failed to hold back, and Nakayama nodded, turning around when Sirius landed her hand on her shoulder, slowly moving to her back as they walked into the main hall
There wasn’t a lot of costumers, only two tables occupied by other 2 couples, the place is so quite if you ignored the whispers of flirting and the giggles followed by it, it’s so calm and peaceful
Nakayama held onto the bouquet in her arms, watching Sirius stepping a few steps ahead to pull the chair for her, standing there with a soft smile on her face waiting for the other who stood in surprise to come and sit
Nakayama looked away trying to control her heartbeat, Surius gonna give her a heart struck before this night comes to an end
“what a gentleman” she chuckled hearing the scoff tone from Nakayama as she walks closer, placing the bouquet on the table to sit on the chair held for her by Sirius, then she pushed it closer to the table before her girlfriend sits on it
but Sirius didn’t move to her own chair, she leaned over, hands sliding from the chair to the shoulders that immediately tensed at the sudden touch, her lips brushed against Nakayama’s ear making it twitch
“Je vais te chouchouter” Nakayama quickly tilted her head away and flattened her ears hearing the foreign words whispered into her ear, she had to place a hand on it to stop it from twitching, looking back with a scowl on her face, watching the pleasant smile widened on Sirius’s face at her reaction and seeing the blush completely taking over her face
“What the hell was that?!”
“Je te charrie~”
“Stop speaking in french, it’s annoying!”
She scratched her neck feeling the rush of warmth going through her whole body, frowning as she watch Sirius giggling and walking over the other side of the table, leaning her back against the chair
The waitress came to give each of them a menu, and Nakayama sighed as soon as she opened it to see it writing in french, there wasn’t even pictures for her to pick from
she looked up from the menu when she heard the other giggling, placing it on the table, glaring at the amusement look on her girlfriend’s face
“Don’t look at me like that~” Sirius reached across the table to hold onto Nakayama’s hand, the spark in her eyes while she’s smiling ear to ear made the other’s frown disappear “I’m not gonna make you beg me to read it”
“Oh, how noble of you, young lady”
she rolled her eyes hearing the other giggling again, the cold fingers rubbing gently on the back of her hand, Nakayama saw her gaze softening when they met with her eyes, and her heart sank, listening to Sirius reciting the fancy names of every dish, telling her about the ingredients and how delicious it is, all while holding her hand, running her fingers over her skin, Nakayama let the back of her hand rest over the silky fabric on top of the table, and she held the hand touching hers, she smirked seeing Sirius’s eyes drafting from the menu to their entwined hands and back to it, stumbling over her words at the sudden touch
Dinner went smoothly, it was comfortable and nice. but Sirius didn’t want it to be just nice, it’s valentine, she kept feeding Nakayama from the dishes she ordered, whining asking her to do the same, and even though Nakayama sighed in annoyance she still did it, couldn’t waste the opportunity to see Sirius smiling like a kid taking a bite from her spoon
feeding each other, holding hands, their legs crossing under the table, talking and laughing, sometimes just staring at each other giggling until one of them gets too shy and break the eye contact
Nakayama never dreamt about doing anything like this three months ago, she couldn’t believe this night is real. it’s not like they never went out to eat together before, but this is so much different than going out as friends or roommates, it’s so fluttering, so romantic.
The time passed and they’re back to the car, Nakayama sitting on the passenger seat with the bouquet over her lap, she couldn’t believe how much she’s happy about it that she didn’t think about the embarrassment of going back to campus with it and having to deal with her friends teasing
on the next seat, Sirius fastened her belt, couldn’t take her eyes off her girlfriend’s face that was almost as red as the roses in her hands “did you have fun?” she got her attention away from the bouquet, and Nakayama leaned her head back against the seat, smiling fondly as she tilts her head towards the other uma, nodding twice
Sirius held her eyes open to stop them from blinking and missing seeing that expression, holding back her breath when she felt a tug on her arm, watching Nakayama lean in closer, and her world stopped for a few seconds feeling a soft pair of lips on her cheek, her eyelids fluttered and she let out the breath she was holding, feeling the warmth of those lips leaving her skin, and the only thing remaining is the sensation of the kiss
“Are we going somewhere else?” Nakayama’s voice made her ears twitch, she squinted feeling her heart beating faster “how about a walk by the river? we can stop somewhere nearby to get something to drink, I’ll pay this time!” her voice was.. strange, or is it because she looked too cute, maybe it’s because of the kiss that Sirius’s hearing was affected
“Nakayama..” the other was nervous, and now hearing her name whispered close to her ears just sent another wave of rush through her body, she flinched when Sirius’s hands cupped her face, and she closed her eyes when she got pulled into a kiss
she whimpered in surprise against Sirius’s lips, but the kiss didn’t last for long, she felt the cold hands sliding off her cheeks to the back of her head holding it in place, then the lips that was over hers started travelling all over her face. kissing the corner of her mouth, under and above her lips, her cheeks, her nose, her eyes, her forehead. Nakayama froze holding back her breath, and with each kiss her face flush even more
“Sirius..” she mumbles when those lips trailed to her neck, finally opening her eyes when the other pulled away, breathless, letting her hands fall over Nakayama’s shoulders, looking at her face painted in red
Sirius regretted wearing a kiss-proof lipstick, the sight of Nakayama blushing so deeply would look even more admirable with lipstick marks smudged over it
“Let’s go back to dorms..”
Nakayama gulped, but she slipped her smirk back over her quivering lips “i thought you didn’t want our first valentine go to waste, miss?” she teased, as if she didn’t have the same idea, but it’s fun seeing Sirius frowns as her face blushing more, groaning “it’s not going to waste! It’s love day, so we should be making love!”
“You’re just horny”
“I Am! so what now? do you wanna go back or not?!” Nakayama chuckled, blinking nervously as she watch Sirius lose her temper, the urge to tease her more about it turned into desire to satisfy her needs
“Let’s go back then..”
The way back to the dorms was so awkward and quiet, none of them said a single word as they’re busy controlling their wild lust until they reach their room
Nakayama left the bouquet in the car, and they didn’t waste time to slow down when Sirius parked her car in the dorms parking lot
Sirius flinched when Nakayama held her hand on the way, she bit her lower lip and let the shorter uma drag her back to their room, good thing it’s too early for anyone to be back at this hour, they didn’t run into any of their friends on the way, last thing they wanted to do is having a conversation with someone right now while their minds only thinking about tearing each other’s clothes off
Nakayama unlocked their room, she pushed the door open pulling Sirius inside with her, and the other closed it after she got in, and then immediately pulled her hand from Nakayama’s hold, Nakayama didn’t have the time to catch her breath before Sirius picks her off the floor, she gasped holding onto her girlfriend’s shoulders, and their eye contact burns more fire inside their bodies
Nakayama sighed deeply feeling her body dropped over Sirius’s bed, her fists tightening on the blanket underneath her, watching Sirius crawl into the bed with her hands sneaking under Nakayama’s thighs to pull her legs around her hips
“I still got one more valentine gift…” Sirius whispered in a low tone with a smirk forming over her mouth while taking off her rings
but the words just hit Nakayama in the head, in a gay way, but also the fact that she didn’t give anything to her girlfriend
“Wait!” she quickly sat up, Sirius’s smirk faded, and her hands were faster to grab her girl’s waist and stop her from leaving the bed
“w-what?! would you prefer oral-“
“It’s not that!” Nakayama scowled, looking away from the confused look in those wide crimsons “i- uh.. i got something.. for you” she mumbles, feeling the embarrassment building up hearing the sigh from the other uma
“Seriously? You can give it to me after we’re done!”
“No! I have to do it now”
she groans in frustration watching Nakayama gets off the bed, walking to her side of the room to the desk, she opened the drawer and pulled a small box out of it
Nakayama stood still for a few seconds staring at the box in her hands before turning back to Sirius, and those irritated eyes calmed down seeing the small box wrapped in glittering paper and a bow that her girlfriend was holding, blinking multiple times when Nakayama walked back to sit in front of her, pushing the box into her face
“what is this”
“… chocolate..” her eyes fluttered looking up at Sirius, she tried to keep her calm face but her nervousness is obvious, and it’s getting hard to control her heart when she sees the spark in Sirius’s eyes staring at the box before she took it in her hands
she pulled the end of the bow, letting it fall off to unwrap the paper around the box, she couldn’t hold back the chuckle seeing five heart-shaped pieces of chocolate
“Don’t laugh” her eyes watched Nakayama reach her hand to take one of the chocolates, looking up when she brought it to her lips, and Sirius opened her mouth to take it in from her girlfriend’s fingers
Nakayama held her breath watching Sirius chewing on it, looking back into her eyes when she whimpered “mmhhm!!” closing her eyes savouring the taste on her tongue “what the hell? it’s so delicious..” she opened her eyes again to see the proud look on her girlfriend’s face, she giggled watching her take another piece to shove it in her mouth
“Oh wait, the filling is different, the first was coffee, what’s in this one?”
“I put different things in each one” Nakayama said, taking another piece out of the box waiting for Sirius to chew this one to make her eat the other “there’s coffee, honey, custard, strawberry jam…”
“Oh, this one is definitely custard then” she guessed as she tasted the flavour of the frosting melting on her tongue, looking at Nakayama feeding her the third piece, humming and shaking her head in disbelief of how good it taste
“jam… it’s so good, Nakayama!” she left the box over her lap to grab the chef’s shoulders, shaking her slightly while Nakayama’s laughing at her adorable reaction after tasting each one of these chocolates she made
Nakayama looked at the box, only two pieces left, she gulped and choose one of the two randomly “what about the fifth flavour?” her hand stopped midway before she gets the chocolate into Sirius’s mouth, she blinked and looked back at her
“What about it?”
“You said each one have different fillings. coffee, custard, strawberry jam, honey and..?”
She can’t hold it back, Nakayama can’t hold her excitement from showing on her face, she quickly pressed one hand over her lips to stop the wide smile from appearing while her wide eyes looking at Sirius’s confused ones that already started to suspect, she kept her lips closed when Nakayama tried to slip the chocolate into them, watching her shaking trying to contain the sheer of thrill she’s feeling right now
Sirius grabbed her wrist to pull her hand away, frowning as the corner of her lip curled to an irritated side smirk
“Puppy…”
“aah Sirius… don’t ruin the fun” she said, giggling and pushing her hand back to put the chocolate between Sirius’s lips, biting her own lip “find out yourself, princess”
Sirius frowns, holding the eye contact with those lunatic eyes staring back at her, she can’t deny that she’s feeling excited too, but knowing Nakayama, and the fact that she’s her victim in this, it’s scary
Sirius can’t believe that even now, she adores Nakayama’s love for gambling
she sighed and took the chocolate into her mouth, the first taste over her tongue was just the sweetness of the chocolate, she rolled it in her mouth for a bit, enjoying the little squawks slipping from Nakayama waiting with anticipation for her to give any reaction
Sirius squinted and took a risk, she chewed on the chocolate in her mouth, holding her breath feeling the frosting gushing out
The frown deepened on her face while Nakayama lightened up more, throwing her head back laughing when Sirius spit it out in her hand and started coughing
“Fucking hell Nakayama!!” she shouted, immediately talking the last piece and shoved it in her mouth
“Oh my god, it’s so good! i wish i recorded this!” She wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes from laughing too much, with one arm over her stomach “i knew the wasabi was the best idea!“
Sirius growled in frustration while chewing on the last piece, the honey flavour is taking over the taste of wasabi in her tongue
“You’re such a naughty girl” Nakayama flinched at the drop of tone, smiling nervously when Sirius crawled closer to her “y-you should be grateful I didn’t listen to Golshi when she wanted to add garlic and tuna!!” she tried to run away, but Sirius was faster to grab her and pin her down on the bed, sitting on top of her to stop her movements, bringing up the hand she spit the wasabi flavoured chocolate in it earlier, smirking watching Nakayama squirming underneath her in fear, trying to get away
“bad puppies should be punished, right?”
“S-Sirius wait—“
too late, Sirius shoved the wasabi into her mouth, keeping her hand over it to prevent her from spitting it out, laughing seeing the shorter uma struggling underneath her, and her screams muffled against Sirius’s palm
She let go when she was satisfied about taking her revenge, falling on the bed laughing watching Nakayama running out of the room to the bathroom with her hand over her mouth
“Come back quickly, our valentine is not over~” she said loudly, laughing again when Nakayama flipped her off before leaving in a hurry
Their first valentine ended in chaos.
