Work Text:
Nick can hear the music before he even sees their house. A broad smile grows on his face and he hurries.
As expected, he finds his boyfriend in the living room, eyes closed, dancing, lost in the music he can't hear – only feel. The booming bassline creates tingles in Nick's body, or maybe it's admiration and love.
He watches for a while, undetected, then retreats to bake muffins – for soothing the inevitable anger of their neighbours.
Not for the first time and certainly not for the last.
He'd bake a million more to give his man the joy of music.
