   “Say, would you like to join the ball?” Julius' mouth opens, and he seemingly musters up all his courage to ask her this question. “The music’s starting soon, Subaru.”

   She really shouldn’t play around and get too attached, but…

   If she’s already planning to reset tonight, there’s no harm in having a little fun. Nothing concrete, just something casual to take her mind off what’s to come.

   Subaru deserves to have this much. And Julius deserves some happiness, even if all she can afford to give him is nothing but faerie gold, fated to disappear tomorrow morning. There’s no harm in indulging herself a little before she dives face first right into hell once again, right?
