Summary
Sighing deeply, he carried it in and fought the urge to toss it on the counter. He couldn't bring himself to possibly break or ruin the treat Johnny had sent him. Instead, he gently set it on the counter and tugged the red ribbon loose, letting it slip away from the box as he opened it. Inside, he found six large strawberries perfectly dipped in rich dark chocolate with white drizzles decorating the top.
A smile tugged at his lips as his gaze flitted over to the other side of the box and found six bonbons. They looked like they'd be milk chocolate with their lighter coloring. Picking one up, he could feel the subtle shift of a liquid inside. He hummed, leaning against the counter, letting the delicate, smooth chocolate soften and stain his fingertips with the sweet treat as he tried to guess what awaited him inside.
