Shinji Ikari.
By all accounts, he is just a regular boy who by day, pilots the massive Eva Unit 01. A lonely introvert who struggles to socialise with anyone and everyone while carrying a deep-seated resentment for his Father after being abandoned by the man a week after his Mothers death.
