(Jeong)In love with Yongbok

Summary:

Jeongin sighs to himself and fidgets with his rosary ring, wondering if God has an answer as to why he's crushing on two cheesy idiots who are smitten with each other. He reaches for his water bottle to take a sip, but instead of grabbing it, he accidentally knocks it over, having been distracted by the two flirting roommates.

"Shit!" he curses and quickly puts his bottle back upright with a grimace, drops of water dripping on his pants and on Changbin's bag. "Ah— Sorry, hyung."

"Ah— Yongbok, it's okay!" Changbin assures, and Jeongin freezes.

"Did you just call me Yongbok?" he asks, and Changbin's eyes widen and his mouth falls open.

OR: 5 times Jeongin's crush, Changbin, calls him by his other crush's name, Yongbok, and 1 time Jeongin finds out why.

Notes:

Work Text:

1.

Jeongin has a crush— scratch that, he has two crushes: Changbin and Felix slash Yongbok, who happen to be each other's roommates and always love flirting with each other. Sometimes Jeongin thinks they're flirting with him, too, but he doesn't dare to hope, because it's more than obvious that they do very much like each other, even if they're not together yet.

"Changbinnie had been working out all day so now my hands are sore from massaging him and I could barely take any notes during class!" Felix tells them dramatically during lunch. He laughs and kneads Changbin's biceps for good measure, showing no sign of having sore hands. They're so close that Felix doesn't even call Changbin hyung anymore, and that after only a year of being roommates. Jeongin is a little jealous if he's honest, but on the other hand he does enjoys calling his friends hyung, and Felix is from Australia.
That is also why he has two names— Lee Felix Yongbok. At first Felix was embarrassed of his Korean name, but Changbin, Jeongin, and his other friends have started calling him by that name recently because in all their opinions it's a nice name, just like Felix is.

"Yongbok's hands are magic," Changbin agrees, sharing a look with Felix that makes Jeongin blush and wonder if he is supposed to be watching or not, especially when Felix winks at his roommate.

He sighs to himself and fidgets with his rosary ring, wondering if God has an answer as to why he's crushing on two cheesy idiots who are smitten with each other.

"Oh— Did I? I mean, uh— fuck—uh…" Changbin scrunches his face and squints his eyes as he seems to be thinking hard. "Jeongin! Jeonginnie, let me get some toilet paper to clean up."

Changbin all but runs away, leaving Jeongin stunned while Minho barks out a laugh.

"Did he just call you Yongbok and then took about a full minute remembering your actual name?"

Jeongin blushes and grabs a few tissues from his bag to try to dry his pants, ignoring his friend. He feels a hand patting his back, which is probably Jisung, his roommate.

"Changbin hyung is really bad with names, it's not you," Jisung assures, and as much as Jeongin wants to believe his roommate who has known Changbin for a long time, he still feels embarrassed and perplexed.

Before he can reply, however, Changbin returns with his ripped arms full of toilet paper, which is definitely an overkill for how much water Jeongin spilled, but at least he's sweet while helping Jeongin clean up. Felix and Jisung help as well, so it makes Jeongin feel a bit better, but after lunch he can't stop thinking about the way Changbin called him Yongbok.

Maybe it was a simple mistake, a slip up. Jeongin can relate to it, and they've all mixed up names at times, but somehow this felt different— Changbin didn't even notice he got it wrong and had to take a long moment to remember his actual name.

"Can you believe that he called me Yongbok in full conviction?" Jeongin complains to Jisung after class. He puts his head in his hands. "My crush is doomed! There is no way he likes me back."

"Hey that's not true! He likes you a lot!" Jisung tells him, while Jeongin just shrugs. "Trust me, Innie. He's bad with names. Just the other day he asked 'who is this guy' about me, his best friend of ten years! He forgot my name!"

"But he didn't get it wrong," Jeongin mutters with a pout, crossing his arms. "And he doesn't have a crush on you, so that makes it more likely that he doesn't have one on me either."

"You're being dramatic, Jeonginnie, leave that to me and Hyunjin, alright?" Jisung says, and Jeongin sighs. "It was just a mistake, I'm sure!"

"Fine, I'll keep my stupid hope that he likes me back— Yongbokkie hyung is obvious, but I want them both," Jeongin relents, unable to hide a smile when Jisung cheers. He hopes that his friend is right and that his crush did only accidentally call him by his other crush's name.

2.

The next few days all go as they do normally. Class, hanging out with friends, watching Changbin and Felix flirt, wondering if they're flirting with him, mentally (and physically) banging his head against the wall about his crushes, and Jisung trying to cheer him up about it. For one particular course, Jeongin has to work together with two others to produce, sing, and choreograph a song, and he's happy that Changbin and Felix come to him to ask him to join them, but just as Jeongin starts considering that his roommate was right about Changbin simply accidentally slipping up, it happens again.

They're brainstorming ideas for their project until late when Changbin suggests getting a drink and some snacks from the vending machine as a reward for working hard, his treat. Jeongin tells his hyung that he wants the honey pear drink while Felix goes for sikhye, and they'll share some chips and rice crackers together.

"No problem at all. Hyung will buy it for you!" Changbin tells them fondly, and Jeongin rolls his eyes, though he does love being pampered by his hyung at times. Especially if it means that he'll buy them food and drinks.

Changbin presses the button for the honey pear drink and pays with his card while Felix holds Jeongin's arms and massages them as he always does. When the can falls, Changbin also grabs it for him and hands it to Jeongin with a sweet smile. That smile would make Jeongin swoon, and it does, until Changbin says,

"Here you go. Honey pear for our Yongbokkie."

Jeongin freezes again, his hand hanging in the air, not yet having grasped the honey pear drink. Changbin stares at him as well, paused, and Jeongin is the first to get over his stupor. "I'm Jeongin!"

He throws his hands up, making Felix let go of him, and walks away, shaking his head. He done did it again! he thinks sourly while Changbin runs after him. They both don't hear Felix complaining that he still wants his sikhye.

"Wait— Jeonginnie! It was a mistake!" Changbin whines and Jeongin only slows down when he nears the table they were brainstorming at. He fixes Changbin with an unamused look, but he falters when Changbin pouts. Damn his cute little mouth! "It was because Yongbok was right there! I got confused."

Jeongin hums, unsure whether to believe it or not. It's now the second time, so it could still be a coincidence, but Changbin hasn't done it with anyone else as far as Jeongin knows. He likes stupid men, but not when they don't know his name.

"I'll buy you an extra snack! Please, Yo— Jeonginnie!" Changbin falls down to his knees and holds up the honey pear drink as if it's a sacred gift. Jeongin huffs and smiles as he grabs the can.

"Fine, I'll be bribed. For now." Jeongin relents and Changbin grins as he stands up and squeezes Jeongin tight. "Hyung— Can't breathe!"

"Sorry but you're just so cute when accepting bribes!" Changbin coos, and Jeongin rolls his eyes, but his cheeks still get red like the traitors they are.

"Go buy Lix hyung his sikhye and me my snacks," he deflects and Changbin gasps.

"Right— Yongbok!"

At least he seems to have forgotten about Felix temporarily— as expected from the worst multitasker in history— so that makes Jeongin feel better. When they arrive back at the vending machine, they find Felix sitting there on his knees in front of it, looking like he's mourning his lost sikhye.

"Hyung," Jeongin calls, and Felix's head perks up before he turns around and his expression lights up.

"You're back! I thought I'd never see you two again!" Felix runs up to them to hug them both, even if his arms struggle to wrap around Changbin and Jeongin's broad shoulders.

"Jeonginnie reminded me of the duty I still have to fulfill," Changbin says, patting Felix's head. "Let hyung buy that sikhye for you."

"Thank you hyung!" Felix turns his head and plants a kiss on Changbin's cheek, making their hyung blush. "And thank you, Innie, for reminding him."

Jeongin should expect the kiss, but he's still surprised when Felix's lips touch his cheek. He squeaks and makes a sound in disgust out of pure panic even though he liked it and wants Felix to do it again preferably every single day from now on. Felix just smiles at him, radiantly, and he keeps an arm swung around Jeongin's shoulders as Changbin buys the sikhye and snacks.

Then, they get their bags and walk back to the dorm while enjoying the drink and snacks, and Changbin insists on walking Jeongin back to his room even though they're on different floors. Jeongin opens his dorm room door and greets Jisung, "Hey, hyung, I'm back!"

Jisung appears and grins when he sees Changbin and Felix. "Hey, Innie, Lixie, Binnie. How was it?"

"Changbinnie hyung mixed up my name again but other than that we have good ideas for our project," Jeongin tells him and Jisung first grimaces and then smiles.

"Hmm, I see." Jisung turns to Changbin. "Hyung, do you still remember my name?"

"Pfft— Of course I do," he answers with an incredulous scoff, but Jeongin can see sweat trickling down his temple.

"What is it then?" Jisung challenges.

"Hmm? What? Oh Yongbokkie, you want to go home because you're tired?" Changbin's voice is loud and Felix looks confused, but Changbin already pulls him away. "Of course we can go home. Bye!"

Jisung and Jeongin both let out a laugh as they watch their friends run away, arms hooked.

"Ten years…" Jisung mutters, shaking his head.

"Your name is Jisung, of course!" Changbin sounds from the stairwell and Jisung snorts.

"I bet Yongbok told him." They walk inside and Jeongin feels for Jisung, but it's still not the same. Changbin is simply forgetting Jisung's name, he's not confusing him with someone else!

"Yongbok hyung is sweet like that, yeah," Jeongin replies and Jisung laughs.

"And you're pathetically in love," he comments and Jeongin hits his roommate, making him whine. "When are you going to finally confess, Innie?"

"When Changbin hyung actually knows who I am," he mutters.

"He knows it!"

"Hearing is believing."

3.

Changbin is more careful with saying names from then on, and while sometimes it takes him a bit to get the right name, he mostly gets it right. Jeongin sometimes wishes he could see what is going on in his crush's brain, but he fears that it's not much— Jeongin has a thing for sweet and stupid people, that's why when Felix named carrots and yogurt as fruits, Jeongin immediately fell for him, but Changbin forgetting his name is different.

Working together on the project doesn't help Jeongin ignore his pathetic crushes as Jisung called it, because there Changbin and Felix are both very capable and smart and Jeongin loves the duality. Right now, they're in the university studio, recording the song they wrote together. Or, rather, Jeongin is recording while Changbin is directing him and Felix is watching with glimmering eyes until he has to leave for one of his choreography classes.

"You're doing great, it's already sounding amazing!" Felix tells him with a bright grin, his freckled cheeks bunching up while he massages Changbin's shoulders. "I can't wait to hear it when it's done!"

He squeezes Changbin's muscles and sends Jeongin a flying kiss, making Jeongin's heart flutter, before he says goodbye. Jeongin and Changbin both sigh fondly as Felix leaves and their gaze lingers on him before they focus on each other again.

"Anyway, let's do the harmonies now," Changbin tells him, and Jeongin nods. Changbin guides him through it patiently, not minding when Jeongin's voice cracks once and he takes a break to have a drink of water.

At moments like this, Jeongin knows that his crush isn't just a silly case of 'oh he's hot and stupid' but a serious case of being down bad. Even Seungmin agrees that Changbin would be a great boyfriend, and he doesn't even like Changbin like that— so imagine how Jeongin feels right now.

Changbin claps for him after Jeongin records the last line, and Jeongin smiles bashfully at all the compliments.
"It's exactly what I had in mind! It's beautiful! I really love your voice, Yongbok," Changbin tells him, and Jeongin's smile falls. Really? He done did it again!

"Hyung— it's Jeongin!" he whines, putting his face in his hands.

"Fuck me—" Changbin curses. "It's because Yongbok was just here watching!"

"He isn't even a singing major!" Jeongin points out, removing his hands and putting them in his sides. He dramatically looks away and fakes a sob. "You'd probably have called me that even if Yongbok hyung hadn't been here."

"Not true!" Changbin complains. "Don't cry, Yo— Shit— ah— Jeonginnie! It's not personal!"

"Sure hyung. You don't mix up anyone else's name!" Jeongin retorts, and Changbin stammers something unintelligible. Jeongin sighs. "Never mind. Are we done? I still have some studying to do."

"We're done, and I mean it that you did a great job! I just mixed up the names," Changbin repeats before opening the studio door for him. His words sound sincere, so Jeongin softens. Right, he's just an idiot. I should be gentle.

"It's alright, hyung," he assures with a hand on Changbin's shoulder. "Thank you for the help and the compliments. I'm also really happy how the song turned out."

"Because of your angelic singing!" Changbin hugs him tight and shakes him side to side, making Jeongin groan. "Sorry. Go do your studying, baby."

Jeongin sucks in a breath at the pet name and his heart makes a fuss about it, but it's no excuse for mixing up his name, no matter how weak Jeongin's legs get because of it! Changbin sometimes calls Jisung baby too, but Jeongin knows that it's because Changbin sees Jisung as a literal baby. He hopes that it's not the same in his case.

Changbin walks him back to his room again, but this time he quickly runs away before Jisung can spot him, and it makes Jeongin laugh, especially when he tells Jisung about it and his friends looks at him with big, incredulous eyes.
It's less funny when he tells his roommate about Changbin calling him Yongbok for the third time. Jisung keeps the belief that Changbin and Felix like him back because Felix blew him a kiss and Changbin called him baby, but Jeongin still isn't convinced.

On the other hand, however, he also isn't convinced that they don't like him back.

4.

After handing in the project and between exams they have a quiet weekend. Jisung is out with Minho doing God knows what those two do together, and Jeongin is bored in his room, thinking about kissing Changbin and Felix as one does, when there's a knock on the door. He perks up and opens the door only to see Changbin and Felix standing there, both grinning.

"Hey, Innie. Wanna work out?" Changbin asks him, and Jeongin is happy to hear his own name. He wonders if Felix reminded Changbin of it or not, but it's not like Changbin never gets his name right, so maybe he did it all on his own like a good boy.

"Sure! Is Lixie hyung joining a workout?" he wonders, and Felix laughs.

"Maybe for a little bit, but I'm mostly here to watch and massage you two after," Felix tells him with a smirk, and Jeongin huffs. Typical Felix, always at the scene when there are muscles involved, either watching or touching or massaging, whatever he can get away with. Jeongin loves it and it's one of the main reasons why he's working out. The other main reason being Changbin asking him to join.

Jeongin grabs his workout bag that he has ready for whenever Changbin wants him to go to the gym with him, and they head out. Felix also changes, though he mostly watches Changbin and Jeongin change with his lip caught between his teeth and an expression that makes them both shy. Jeongin expects him to also ogle everyone working out at the gym, but his eyes stay fixed on Changbin and Jeongin while the former tells them the routine he had in mind.

Jeongin doesn't work out that often, he enjoys other things more, but he does like how he looks with some muscle on him and he knows that Changbin and especially Felix do, too, so Jeongin tries to keep up. Nevertheless, he's not nearly as knowledgeable as Changbin is, and it becomes evident whenever his posture is off.

"Oh baby, let me help," Changbin says, and Jeongin is glad that he's already red from exertion, otherwise they would definitely notice him blushing at the pet name. Changbin's hands are gentle yet firm on him, and Jeongin swears he hears Felix gulp thickly— or maybe that's him doing that himself. Or both.

Jeongin only gets less stable the more Changbin touches him, his fingers digging into him, and Jeongin's heart goes haywire. The more Jeongin loses his focus, however, the more Changbin tries to get him back into the right position, his strong arms wrapping around him, and Jeongin thinks he might pass out when he feels Changbin's breath on his skin.

"What's wrong, Yongbokkie? Why are you so shaky?" he asks softly, and Jeongin yelps at the ticklish sensation and quickly pushes Changbin away. Without the support of Changbin's arms, Jeongin's legs aren't able to carry him anymore so he unceremoniously falls down with a thud.

"Shit— Are you okay? Yong—"

"It's Jeongin!" Jeongin exclaims as Changbin kneels to help him up, and Jeongin hits his hands away.

"Fuck!" Changbin lets out an elongated groan and slaps his palm on his forehead. "Jeonginnie. Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine," Jeongin mutters, slowly pushing himself up. His heart is still hammering in his chest, but now in a different way. Why does Changbin have to be stupid and ruin the moment?!
"I'm just— Tired from exams." And tired of being called the wrong name, he adds in his thoughts, but he doesn't want to fight with Changbin. He is sure that Changbin doesn't mean any harm and he knows that Changbin likes him a lot, but then why does he keep mixing him up with Felix? And why doesn't he do so with anyone else?

"That's understandable. Let's cool down then and wrap up so we can have a restful weekend," Changbin suggests gently, and Jeongin nods, pressing his lips together into a halfhearted smile.

They do some light exercises and stretching in a tense silence, even Felix isn't looking at them with thirsty eyes anymore, before Changbin says he'll go shower and change. Jeongin doesn’t like showering in public spaces and especially not when he's feeling like this, so he always showers at the dorms.

He sits down on one of the benches with a sigh and Felix joins him, his small hands coming to massage his shoulders, offering some welcome relief.

"Are you upset with Changbinnie hyung?" he asks, and Jeongin shrugs.

"Yes and no. I just feel like hyung doesn't see me when he gets my name wrong, even though I know he cares about me," he answers, and Felix's arm wraps around him comfortingly.

"He does see and care for you, Jeonginnie," Felix assures him. "When you're not here, he still talks about you! Sometimes he's telling me about Yongbok and it's something I don't recognize at all, so then I know he's talking about you. The name doesn't matter, he still pays attention to you and knows you."

Jeongin huffs out a laugh, feeling a little hot imagining Changbin telling a story about him with the wrong name. It still feels weird, but it's also kind of sexy how stupid it is. He melts into Felix's touch as his friend keeps massaging him.

"Thank you, Yongbokkie hyung," he says. "I still don't understand it, but it's nice to know that I exist in his mind separately from you."

"Of course you do! But I have to say I don't understand it that well either." Felix chuckles and squeezes Jeongin's nape. "Either way, the point is that we both talk about you a lot, and sometimes he confuses me by calling you Yongbok, but he doesn't always call you Yongbok."

"Do you often correct him?" Jeongin wonders and Felix shakes his head.

"I usually take too long figuring out what the hell Changbin is talking about," he replies and Jeongin laughs. Why am I in love with two idiots?

"Hyung is also taking a long time showering and I'm becoming annoyed with how sweaty I am, so I think I'll head back first so that I can shower," Jeongin tells Felix as he stands up, and Felix follows. "If Changbin hyung frets over me when he's back, tell him that I think he's dumb but I do forgive him, alright?"

Felix snickers and nods, holding Jeongin's biceps firmly for reasons only known to Felix himself. "You're so cute, Innie. Will do. And if you're sore tomorrow, give me a text and I'll come over to take care of you."

Jeongin flushes at the way Felix's voice deepens and his eyes carry a glimmer that makes Jeongin's stomach flip. "Y-Yes, hyung. Thank you. Bye!"

He all but runs home, his heart pumping blood through his veins as his mind races with confusing feelings. He knows that he has a crush on Felix and Changbin but he doesn't know how to deal with it and he doesn't know what exactly they are feeling, so he just tries to empty his mind by taking a cold shower and blabbering to his roommate about everything when Jisung comes back from whatever he was doing together with Minho.

And maybe he conveniently forgets to stretch some more and wakes up with sore muscles the next day so he has to text Felix, but that is for only him, Felix, and a smug roommate to know.

5.

After that particular weekend, everything feels different, and not only because exams are over and they have some freedom. Jeongin only feels more tension between him and the two flirty roommates, and he can't stop thinking about them. He can't stop thinking about Changbin and Felix's hands on him, Changbin helping him work out, Felix massaging him, and their compliments that have to be flirting—

"Jeongin! Are you listening?" Minho pulls him out of his thoughts, and Jeongin jolts. "There he is. This is mostly important to you, since I think you're the only one who doesn't know about it yet."

"About what?" Jeongin asks.

"Chan hyung is hosting a party to celebrate the end of exams," Seungmin explains. "We're all invited and we can bring a plus one if we want."

Jeongin hums. He knows Chan via his friends since he is in Changbin and Jisung's classes, he's Minho's roommate, he worked on the project with Seungmin and Hyunjin, and Felix is a social butterfly, but he's always so busy he rarely joins them for lunch.

"Yes, and I already told Chan hyung that I'm planning to bring Yongbokkie as my plus one," Changbin adds, and Jeongin frowns.

"Yongbok is already invited," Hyunjin points out, and now Changbin looks confused. Jeongin sighs deeply. He can't even get himself to be surprised anymore.

"Is he?"

"I am, you silly boy!" Felix laughs, lightly slapping Changbin's arm before grabbing onto it with his greedy little hands. "We even agreed to wear matching jewelry to the party!"

"No, I know that. I don't mean you, I mean Yongbok—" Changbin retorts before stopping himself and groaning. "Fuck me!"

"Why do you keep calling Jeonginnie Yongbok?" Minho asks, and Jeongin would wonder how Minho knows that Changbin keeps doing it when Minho has only witnessed it once, but Jeongin already knows that it was Jisung. Those two can't keep anything from each other. Either way, Jeongin won't complain, because he is curious about the answer, too. "Is it because you can't stop thinking about Yongbok?"

"You might want to spin it that way," Changbin replies cryptically. Everyone is baffled.

"Okay. Vaguest answer ever." Minho shrugs it off.

"Anyway. Yo— fuck— uh…" Changbin snaps his fingers, trying to come up with the name Minho literally just said. "Jeongin! Do you want to go to Chan hyung's party with me as my plus one?"

Jeongin crosses his arms and tries to act nonchalant as he hums. "I could also go with Yongbok hyung, or Jisung hyung, or Minho hyung, or even Seungmin hyung or Hyunjin hyung. Who all do know my name."

"Nooooooo!!!" Changbin wails and falls down on his knees in front of Jeongin, putting his hands on Jeongin's knees. "Forgive me Jeongin! Yang Jeongin! Yang! Jeong! In!"

"I'll think about it," Jeongin says even though he knows damn well that he will cave and go with his sexy and stupid hyung. "If you keep getting my name right, I'll go with you."

"Yay! And we can all wear matching jewelry!" Felix cheers. Jeongin likes the idea of the three of them all matching. "We'll pick you up so we can get dressed together and go together."

It almost sounds like they already had this planned from the start, though Jeongin wonders how they managed to even make a plan if Changbin keeps calling him Yongbok, but maybe he didn't. Maybe for once he didn't confuse poor Felix, who knows.

"And I'll do my best to remember your name," Changbin adds and then continues after a beat that takes slightly too long, "Jeongin."

Jeongin laughs. "Deal."

+1

The day of the party arrives smoothly, and while Jeongin hopes that Changbin now knows his name, that feels like wishful thinking. Nevertheless, he won't pass up an opportunity to go with his two crushes, who do seem to like him a lot as well.

When they come to pick him up to get ready together, Changbin greets him with his name, grinning proudly (but he does forget Jisung's name again). It's a good start and Jeongin is giddy as they get dressed and match their jewelry. Felix of course checks them out fully once they're ready and makes sure to give them a full pat down and shower them in compliments before they head to the party.

There, Chan greets them happily, and he seems surprised to see Jeongin. "Ah, so you brought Jeongin after all! I was already so confused when you said you'd bring Lix."

"Yes, I meant Yo— Jeonginnie of course!" Changbin says, almost slipping up again, but he smoothly recovers and corrects himself. Chan just politely nods and tells them to feel free to grab a drink and snacks.

They do so and find their friends soon enough, who suggest playing truth or dare with them. They agree and manage to convince a few others to join before they start, Changbin, Jeongin and Felix sitting down together with Felix in the middle.

"Yongbok, truth or dare?" Seungmin begins, and Felix thinks for a moment before picking truth. "What is the hair color of your crush?"

"Black!" Felix answers confidently and excitedly. Many people have black hair, but Jeongin and Changbin both do, as well, so it makes Jeongin hope. It helps that Felix pointedly looks at him and Changbin. "Jisungie. Truth or dare."

"Truth."

"What is your crush's favorite animal?" Felix asks. It seems like it'll be a night all about exposing crushes.

"Cats!" Everyone in their friend group prefers dogs except for Minho. "Jeonginnie. Truth or dare?"

Shit. Jisung is absolutely capable of exposing him, but the question is if Changbin and Felix will get it or not. If Jeongin chooses dare, he knows that Jisung will dare him to kiss his cheek or let him kiss Jeongin's cheek and that is even worse than exposing his crushes because then Minho will kick his ass.

"Truth."

"On which floor of the dorms do your crushes live?"

Well, it can't get more obvious now, especially with Jisung saying crushes, plural. They all live on the third floor except for Changbin and Felix. "The second floor."

Changbin and Felix gasp dramatically and Jeongin blushes, quickly moving on. "Minho hyung. Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I'm feeling generous, so I dare you to kiss Jisung's cheeks," he says, because he can't come up with anything else, his mind occupied by wondering whether Felix and Changbin know his crush now and what they think.

"Fuck yes!" Minho immediately squishes Jisung's cheeks and all but shoves his face into them to kiss them. He spends at least a full minute on each cheek before he pulls away and looks like he has been gone for three years. He takes a moment to get back to reality, not minding Jisung whose face is bright red, before he seems to remember that they're playing a game. "Truth or dare, Changbin."

"I'll also pick dare," Changbin replies, and before he even fully finishes speaking, Minho hits him with his dare:

"I dare you to tell us the name of your crush. Or names."

The whole group gasps and Hyunjin wonders if that doesn't go too far, but Changbin doesn't seem to care.

"Yongbok," he says, and everyone falls quiet, surprised at Changbin's admission. Minho is the first one to break the silence again,

"Do you mean Yongbok as in Lee Felix Yongbok or do you mean Jeongin and you got his name wrong?"

"Yes," Changbin replies.

"Yes?" Chan repeats questioningly.

"Yes I like Yongbok!" Changbin clarifies.

"Which one?"

"Both! I mean— I like Yongbok and— fuck— what's his name!"

"My name is Jeongin!" Jeongin exclaims and Changbin points at him.

"Yes! That's the one!"

"God, hyung, why do you keep forgetting my name if you have a crush on me?" Jeongin mutters, crossing his arms. "Do you really?"

"I do Yo— fuck! Jeonginnie!" Changbin whines. "It's because Yongbokkie is such an angel and a sweetheart and you are too and I want to protect you both but I'm too stupid to remember two names so I equal having a crush and strong loving feelings to Yongbok!"

Jeongin bursts into laughter and he can't help but be endeared now that he finally knows the reason Changbin keeps mixing up his name. It's such a simple reason, but it kind of makes sense in some twisted way that only Changbin's mind can come up with.

"Ugh, I can't believe I'm in love with an idiot, but I do agree that Yongbok hyung is simply irresistible and angelic, so I kind of get it," he relents, and Changbin grins while Felix coos.

"Aww, you two! We're becoming boyfriends. Now!" Felix demands, grabbing Jeongin and Changbin's hands, and Changbin looks at Jeongin expectantly.

"Do you want that too even though I am as bad with names as you hate Jisungie giving you kisses?" Changbin wonders, and Jisung gasps and tears up at the fact that Changbin remembered his name. Jeongin nods.

"Maybe it's not so bad to be compared to Yongbok hyung, and now that I know it's not that you don't like me but rather that you like me just as much as Lix hyung, it's kind of hot," Jeongin tells him. "I like my men a little stupid."

"Then I must be your dream man," Changbin murmurs with a sultry grin that makes Jeongin's stomach do acrobatics.

"Oh my god, kiss each other right now and then me!" Felix urges them, and Jeongin all too gladly listens to his demands and leans over Felix to kiss Changbin on his cute little mouth.

If Jeongin didn't believe that Changbin actually has a crush on him yet, he would believe it now, feeling Changbin kissing him like he means it. He forgets all about the game they're supposed to be playing and the fact that his friends are watching. Even when they part for breath, Jeongin only sees Changbin and Felix who are looking at him with loving eyes, and he feels stupid for ever doubting them.

"My turn!" Felix cups Jeongin's cheeks with his small and less greedy hands and gently kisses him first. Jeongin all but melts, finally living the dream, living the fantasy of kissing his crushes.

When Felix kisses Changbin next, Jeongin wonders if they've kissed before, but seeing the relief and passion that he felt himself in them too, Jeongin thinks they have both waited to kiss each other until now as well. That thought makes Jeongin feel special, because it means that they waited for him to make a move— they do think about him, even though Changbin mixes up his name at times.

"I will do my best to get your name right if you want me to, but please forgive me if I mess up, Jeonginnie," Changbin tells Jeongin, who grins.

"I now know you mean it as a compliment, so I'll be lenient if you promise to give me lots of attention as your boyfriend," he answers, and Changbin's face lights up. "Both of you."

"Deal!" The roommates— Jeongin's boyfriends exclaim in unison, suffocating Jeongin in a tight hug and with many kisses. Usually he would complain, but this time he will let it slide, because he asked for it, too.

"So I take it that the game is over now?" Hyunjin wonders. "Since we kind of wanted to play this to expose those three anyway."

"Wait— I have one last question for Changbin hyung!" Jisung says, raising his hand, and Changbin motions for him to ask. "Now that you have kissed them both, who was the better kisser?"

Jeongin snorts and wants to protest, but then he sees Changbin grinning at him and Felix as he grabs both of their hands in his own, and Jeongin already knows what he's going to say.

"Yongbok."

The end.
