Night City is many things...and none of them are nice. It is filled to the brim with corruption, morally bankrupted backstabbers, crooked cops, gangbangers, psychotic sociopaths and worse, all looking for a throat to slit and easy eddies to line their pockets. No hope, happiness or meaningful joy of any kind SURVIVES Night City.
It was pain.
It was constant struggle.
It was survival of the fittest.
In short, it was, at least for mercs like Jamison Fawkes, Mako Rutledge and Olivia Colomar, the perfect environment for them to hone their unique skillsets and rock Night City to its core as they attempt to make themselves known as the best mercenaries around.
That is, until they are paid a visit by a representative of a multibillion-dollar corporation from India, looking to utilize their talents for the apparent good of humanity...something that, in this city, raises more than a couple of red flags.
