The sunlight peeked from the blinds of Penny and Constance's room. It looked like a normal room on the shelf; there were pictures of Constance in a white suit, and Penny in a wedding dress, and another had Penny kissing Constance while she was visibly pregnant. Another had Penny holding two newborns in a nursery; they looked like Constance, with the same round cheeks, dark skin, and dark hair, but they had different eye colors. One had blue eyes, and one had Ricky's eyes, and there was one more picture of their 2 bundles of joy as teenagers, Rachel Savannah Lamb and Richard " Ricky " Lamb Jr. If you had looked at them, you wouldn't think they were twins. Rachel was shaped like Constance and had dyed her hair red, while Richard was shaped like Penny and had normal dark hair, and then the alarm rang.
Penny woke up, she hugged constance who asked for five more minutes. Penny opened the closet, and she got out her uniform. She works at the Central Florida zoo. They had to move there for Penny's job. Constance didn't want to leave uranium, but didn't mind because she wanted her kids to have a normal childhood in someplace sunny. Penny went into rachels room. It was a nerd's paradise: games, manga, anime galore. Then he entered Richard's room, and he was playing a game, something about an island filled with half-bug, half-snack creatures. MOM said richard im in the middle of something. Penny then slinked back out of richards room and then went out the door and headed to work.
Constance woke up and went into the bathroom for a quick shower. She was a warm presence in the community of the suburb she lived in; she was always present at bake sales each Sunday with some cookies and pie she made. Then, when Constance heard the door open, it was Rachel going to wash her face, always making sure her eyes were covered, then Constance got out of the shower and put on her favorite sweater and ''mom jeans'' then headed to say hi to her kids. She knocked on rachels door. She opened the door oh hi mom rachel said. I was just looking up Uncle Ezra, turns out he's making one-act shows he's currently making one about him and mom its called Lego something or other. Can I go and see it the next time we're in Uranium? Constance put her hand on her daughter's head, look rachel, she said Uranium City is like thousands of miles away, but we will try. Rachel ignored her to scroll through YouTube. Constance exited rachels room. She was gonna knock on richards door, but she noticed a sign that said ''richards room dont enter'' constance left him alone. She got on her phone and looked up the news, and a story caught her eye.

Constance was shocked that Ocean would do this. Sure, she hated her parents, but not so much that she would exterminate them and every hippie, so Constance texted Ocean a message '' ocean its me constance from the choir? It's just WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU EXTERMINATING THE HIPPIES?'' Constance sent the message, and then she woke up her kids for breakfast. They rushed to the kichen so do you want cereal or pancakes constance said richard and Rachel thought for a minute, then said cereal constance shed a tear. They would have loved her homemade blueberry pancakes if they had given them a chance, but no, they only love the kookoo bird, who is an addict for chocolate cereal. We saw the tear mom, we can have pancakes if you want, Rachel said. Constance stared at her daughter and said no its alright, sorry then rachel grabbed a stack of pancakes and took a bite. She smiled and said hey these aren't half bad constance felt happy, then Rachel headed off to practice for the school musical, and Richard headed to his job at the comic book shop.
Constance was alone, so she decided to visit the attic for a trip down memory lane. She entered the attic and went through some old boxes. One was labled st cassian it had her old uniform from her old boarding school. Then she went through a box that says ''do not open EVER'' she opened it inside was a form an ultrasound and a photo of a baby but it wasnt her twins it was HIS baby the carnies she wished she hadnt abandoned her but she had to she was just out of high school she had no choice all she gave her was her name lilly blackwood she hadnt seen her since she hugged the baby photo i wish i could see you one more time my lilly you will be 25 soon i miss you she said she started crying she headed down the attic steps to her and pennys room she felt the famillier matress she took a deep breath and took a nap there she had a dream she was 17 again she was at the fall fair then she saw the carnie wearing an iron maiden t shirt and showing off this tattoos constance ran away then she saw lilly crying she tried to hold her but figures with their faces scribbled out took her away.
constance woke up sweating she saw the time and she turned around to see her wife resting on the bed constance screamed honey she said your home early penny laughed i didnt want to wake you up she said so how was your day constance told her that shes been looking at lilys baby photo connie penny said with sadness in her voice its been 24 years since you last saw her you need to let go constance replied with i just wish i could hold her in my arms one more time she started to cry penny hugged her and kissed her on the cheek maybe you two can be reunited constance then heard rachel and richard coming home rachel came home with her script for her high school production of little shop of horrors and richard looked gaunt he headed straight to his room to read a comic mom we got our scripts today rachel said constance gave rachel a big bear hug your making mama proud she said rachel went into her room to read the script constance then knocked on rachels door dont you want dinner she said no mom rachel replied
constance then headed to bed but not before getting a reply from ocean all she said was ''i just hate hippies''
