Chapter Text
Welcome to the Forge
I am an aspiring author looking to stretch my creative muscles across every genre imaginable. To grow, I want to write outside my comfort zone—and that’s where you come in.
How it Works:
-
Drop a Comment: Leave a trope, a specific dynamic (e.g., "The protector who failed" x "The survivor who didn't want saving"), a setting, or a full-blown plot idea.
-
The Mashup: I love combining ideas! I might take a character dynamic from one person and a cyberpunk setting from another to create something entirely new.
-
Credit Always Given: Every story will explicitly credit the person (or people) who provided the spark.
-
The Dictionary Pages: This work isn't just for stories. I am dedicated to building a "Resource Library" here. Look out for chapters titled:
-
The Trope Vault: A dictionary of classic and subverted tropes.
-
The Dynamic Map: A guide to complex character relationships.
-
The Genre Guide: Prompts specific to Cyberpunk, Fantasy, Horror, and more.
-
What I Write:
I am open to almost anything!
-
Genres: Cyberpunk, High Fantasy, Grimdark, Fluff, Gore, Sci-Fi.
-
Content: Original Works & Fanfiction (Haikyuu, MHA, etc.). tho I do have to know what it is if its a fan fic, if I don't I'm willing to watch it.
-
Collaborations: If you want to be a co-editor or a regular "brainstorming buddy," please let me know in your comment!
Let’s turn your "I wish I could read this" into "I can’t believe this was written."
Part 2: How to Prompt (The Guidelines)
To help me give you the best story possible, I’ve created a few "recipes" for how you can leave your ideas in the comments. Feel free to be as vague or as detailed as you like!
The "Quick-Spark" Method
-
Genre: (e.g., Cyberpunk, Fantasy, Fluff)
-
A Trope or Theme: (e.g., "Enemies to Lovers" or "The Last Human")
-
The Hook: A one-sentence idea. (e.g., "A girl finds a robot that remembers her grandmother.")
The "Dynamic-Duo" Method
Focus on the relationship! Give me two characters (original or fanfic) and a specific vibe:
-
Character A: The grumpy one who secretly loves cats.
-
Character B: The sunshine one who is actually a deadly assassin.
-
The Situation: They are stuck in a safe house during a neon-storm.
The "Deep-Lore" Method
Go all out! Give me the world-building, the gore, the science, and the stakes. If you have a full plot you just don't have time to write, lay it out for me, and I’ll turn it into a narrative.
Note on Credit: If I use your prompt, your username will be featured at the top of the chapter. If I "mash up" ideas from two different people, I’ll tag both!
