Chapter Text
Hawks ends his stream with a smile on his face — the chat has been really good this time, behaving well and there was no complications regarding this live. Actually, the numbers had been really satisfying and he had a idea in mind.
While playing, the chat mentioned Dabi, a Minecraft player not focused on the competitive games Hawks played, but recently has been gaining success thanks to his ironic charisma and contacts — Dabi initiated as just a appearance in Shigaraki lives, a LOL streamer famous for his frequent ragequits and reactions. Then he appeared in Toga's lives, making snarky comments about her taste in fashion and content, how her Virtual Avatar as a Vtuber lacked more ribbons. And, while he would normally gain enormous hate of the fans because of how irritating he could be, the effect was quite the contrary.
Fans loved Dabi. Shigaraki and Toga shared a few fans thanks to both being in the LOV — League of Villains group. He appeared in not only theirs but Spinner and Compress' lives, he was iconic in each appearance and made the people laugh. There were just a few content of him, because the man refused to show his face, which only fueled the expectations.
What he hid? He was not only sarcastic, but his voice sometimes reached a grave tone that made people ecstatic, wondering who the man behind the nickname was.
Some have commented more about him. Toga had said his nickname was due to personal incidents, which made people wonder if he has burn scars all over his body.
Compress had said he was good at the kitchen, even if it was rare that he cooked for them. Which made people appreciate him even more.
Spinner said he didn’t play as much because he as occupied with more important things. Which made people wonder what he works for.
All the roads lead to this mysterious nature of the man all of the roommates refused to share, the reality wouldn't be so interesting and probably Dabi prioritized privacy over fame, which was quite understandable for Hawks.
So, it was a surprise to see he started his own Twitch and YouTube Channel for lives. It surely wasn't big as his friend's, but rapidly was integrated the LOV fan-base as a official member.
Dabi was mentioned in his chat a few times already, due to his newly minecraft channel that focused only in chaotic interactions with the LOV and complaining about random things. He was hot, mysterious, and funny, the perfect combination Hawks tried to achieve for years and Dabi could do in just weeks, with a few, accidental interactions in other's peoples lives.
Hawks sighed, the unpredictability of social activity in medias was a hard thing to understand. The company that owned his social-media name was definitely not happy, and required he did a partnership with the group in order to keep his name in the top of the Twitch Streamer ranks as he did the same content and was stagnated — it was comfortable, offered a controllable fan-base. However, the sponsors were unsatisfied, and his fans were hungry. So, he did the obvious. Contacting LOV.
Shigaraki was he known "leader" of the group, so he tried for a simple, condescend approach.
Heyo there Shi :D
I have been seeing your lives, and been interested in maybe doing smth together? With all LOV if im being honest lol
You guys seem fun, so I would be up to any kind of game. I think our fandoms would like it :]
Sent. The message remained unseen on discord, there to be read again and again by Hawks, he didn’t edited the message for fear of being seen as desperate.
He laid in his chair, looking at the ceiling and waiting for any response.
He didn’t need that partnership. But it would be beneficial for both parties. Both carried fandoms with great influence even if im different sides of the internet, and uniting them would only bring good. Hawks didn’t want to be arrogant, but it would be humble to say he was successful.
His lives made at least twenty-five thousand viewers, only chatting per day. His face was plastered in magazines and ads all over the internet and real life, he was recognizable far away and couldn’t even get out of his house without someone pleading for a photo. All of that achieved before he could even legally drink.
Hearing the notification, he sat surprised as he read it. His answer came earlier than he thought.
I suppose we could.
He grinned at the edgy teenager response — trying to seem nonchalant, he could see right through it.
Im staring a new SMP

Typing. . .
Wanna play?
The message sat in his screen, waiting for an answer.
SMP's required time, a consistency Hawks normally wouldn't allow himself to have. It would be a very different content to what he normally do, but it would allow him to know new people, make new connections and probably introduce a content his fans would like.
He doesn’t engage in interpretations of character very often, but it would be fun.
He typed.
Ofc !! Give me the IP.
Before any stream, Hawks was Keigo. He appeared relaxed and talking whatever crossed his mind while on camera. Generally, impulsive decisions shocked the public, and were more fun to watch than systematic, and organized dialogue.
So it was ironic. Because while Hawks was this people-person persona, Keigo definitely wasn't.
His habits and what his true train of thought of how things worked could be a little too much for people. It had been a work of years to build this charismatic, confident border lining arrogant — yet not so much that would distance fans, pretty and funny celebrity named Hawks.
Hawks didn’t had any commitments besides his job with the company. Working as a Twitch streamer as just part of it, a simple suggestion that was given to raise his appeal and interactions with the public. Before it, he started as a child-actor and model to help his mother pay the bills and get them both out of poverty. He grew in the area and now held no contact with his mom, except to send her money monthly.
After all of what was done for him, he couldn't complain when a bunch of events were registered in important dates like Christmas or Halloween. He had no one to be with in these days whatsoever, but it was still a nuisance.
Keigo sighed, finishing his bowl of Gyudon in silence. It left twenty minutes for him to enjoy his time before starting the stream.
He set his bowl in the sink. Heading to his studio to organize things.
Ready to initiate, Hawks started the stream with the waiting screen. He notification popping on his own phone to indicate if everything was right.
The chat and viewers were drastically expanding it's numbers each minute.
Hawks character appeared in the world. His red wings in the F5, as a iconic detail any new viewer in his live would recognize miles away. His chat spammed before the live could even truly initiate:
H0und__D00og: Wth ehy we arent doing speedruns today
Kaibbara_: I think I clicked the wrong liveee
H44wkks1fan: oh ???
The spam started going worse at each seconds, with a personalized emoji of Hawks confused. The man could only laugh as his audio faded into the live. Webcam occupying the whole screen.
"Hey! How are you guys doing today?"
The chat all send little hi's, some people asking how he himself was. Hawks passed a hand through his hair while looking at the monitor that showed his live status and camera.
"I'm good! Thanks for asking." He clapped his hands, grinning kindly. "So, you guys have seen im not doing a speed run today. Because today is special." He made the effort of jiggling his hands.
"You guys know Shigaraki, right? He is a streamer here on Twitch too. And, we chatted a little. He invited me to his new SMP he was doing, and I decided to accept." His camera changed to the game, showing the whole new world and the front-view of his minecraft character. His little webcam showed how enthusiastic he was. "So we are doing different today! And if you guys like it, im going to be continuing."
The chat was going crazy at just the mention of Shigaraki. The title of the stream as changed as well thanks to his mods, and more people were entering the live as the result. Nice.
His character walked, showing little of how changed the world was. It was new so it was expected, just a few traces showing the presence of players. The absence of logs, making trees fly in the air and random blocks that couldn’t be generated naturally. Hawks talked briefly about the details, reading the chat and questions that followed.
"Thanks to marjotaco for the 15! 'are you a new member of the LOV?'. Not that I know of! But I have seen their lives and they seem pretty cool. There's this– I think his name is Twice? We have talked before in a event, he is pretty cool so I want to see if I can play with him."
He read a message in the chat.
"'He does not play mine–' Oh, damn." Hawks winced. "That's sad. Maybe I will build a statue in his memory or something." He giggled.
"'Hes not dead.' That's okay bud, we all pass through denial."
Hawks finally reached a building. A simple house made out of dirt, he got in without any care and hunted for any useful items, not finding any but a enchanted rod.
"Maybe that's Shigaraki's house?" He arched a eyebrow. "I don't know if I should steal from the owner of the server guys."
FeLDSPaRTheThief: STEAL!!!
TttogasfangIrl: Oh Thats not…
Wingsinflamable: THATS NOT SHIGARAKIS HOUSE!!! RUNNNNNN
Geminamirror: Yep hes deaddd as hell
Hawks stared confused at the chat, before being startled by the sudden sound of a door opening in game. There was a skin of a man with partly normal and purple skin, cyan-blue eyes and black hair. A name tag above saying: Sulfur_FlameDabi.
Their characters stared at each other for a while.
Before the player pulled a sword, attacking Hawks and making him run for his life with the new enchanted rod in his hand.
The item that was stolen by Hawks, was actually, in fact, important.
The rod was the first enchanted item acquired in the server, making it a relique, as said by Shigaraki. Hawks, in the end of he stream and the chaos caused — run after run until he could hide high in the mountains, apologized to in the server. Which was quickly dismissed. Toga, who was watching the live, found it funny and later entered the server to help him hide the item from Dabi, even promising giving him a ender-chest for it.
He even did a little house made of spruce wood, following tutorials and chatting with he girl. She was quite lovely, scandalous and insane — all the best characteristics for a internet celebrity, he pondered. She decorated his house with redstones to give the impression of blood, and made several and graphic jokes about how to steal someone's guts without them noticing in the middle of night.
'LOV SMP' and 'Hawks' were trending. Meaning the fans where commenting it in Twitter, founding the interactions more than amusing.
POP !!LOVTWT ERA!! @Poppytyii

GIRL WHERE
Send the clip, he has NEVER said this and im saying in the PLATONIC way you guys from the RaptorTwt are weird as hell lmfao.
Hawks snickered reading the thread. Unfortunately, he didn't chat with Dabi. But he could if he had the opportunity, and if that rod was that big of a thing, he would return the item with no problems later.
That, was what he was thinking.
Hawks stretched his arms before logging once again in the server. This time doing things off camera would spare a lot of the time to do what he planned on stream. He had to do a bunch of little tasks — collect wood from a specific biome, stone bricks, farm food, get diamonds, and it all would be boring to watch. Not to say that he didn’t always had a clever topic or joke in the tip of his tongue, it could be tiring to try.
He mined in silence, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and just sometimes getting out to do a real-life task.
He got to his home in the night, a huge light calling his attention before he could get in top of the mountain.
Just to see it in fire. Blocks disappearing in the air while it burnt to crisps. Hawks stared wide-eyed, cursing under his breath and trying to extinguish the flame that consumed his little house. His own character lost several health bars in the middle of the chaos, and in the end he couldn't do more than let it be.
It left nothing more than a scramble of materials. Yet there was a sign he didn’t saw before, standing right in front of his old house:
"Take that, chicken bitch"
Hawks narrowed his eyes and stared at the sign.
Oh, its on.
