Work Text:
One of the things Riyo thoroughly enjoys, enough to make time in her daily schedule for, is annoying Zanka. ‘Annoying’ might not be the right word, Riyo thinks, no matter how much Zanka would passionately argue against it. In her opinion, Riyo would describe it as… making sure Zanka knows she likes his presence through affectionately pissing him off.
Riyo does this through teasing him, going out of her way to say good morning or good night, striking up a conversation whenever they see each other, or maybe even initiating light touches. Those are the more… subtle ways she shows it, even if she isn't subtle about it at all.
A less subtle way she ‘makes sure Zanka knows she likes his presence through affectionately pissing him off’ is, for example, what she's doing now. Plotting to crash in his bedroom at HQ for the night. She's done it a couple times and—despite the disastrous start to this almost-habit—no matter how much Zanka bitches and moans about it, she can tell they both enjoy it.
The first time she did it, Zanka had only been part of the Cleaners for five months, give or take. It took quite a while longer for Zanka to get used to Riyo for her to get used to him, which she found a little odd. Riyo assumed she herself would be the less trusting between the two of them, but she supposed being around Enjin had a bigger impact on her behaviour than she thought (a little embarrassing, honestly). It could have been due to his upbringing and now having anyone to rely on or trust, but Riyo didn't question it. She's never been one to pry on personal matters, so she took it in stride and waited until she believed Zanka would be okay with a little midnight visit from her.
Needless to say, she was wrong. Five months wasn't enough for him, though she could understand anyone being freaked out about someone coming through their window in the middle of the night, even if they did know them. If her reflexes were any less as fast as they were, she most likely would've gotten a good, disgustingly wood taste of his Lovely Assisstaff.
She got yelled at by him, all while she tried to calm the older—who really seemed like the younger at that moment—down. Thankfully, his reprimanding didn't wake anyone up, but that didn't mean anything to Riyo when she realised his breathing started to grow uneven. She quickly took to making him focus on her, relax his body, and work on getting his breathing under control.
Despite his freak out, Riyo still got what she wanted and felt the most self-satisfied she had in a while as she forced Zanka to let her spoon him. He didn't admit it then, but she could tell with absolute certainty that that was the best he'd slept in weeks.
She still hasn't the slightest clue why Zanka reacted the way he did the first time, and even if it should've, it didn't stop Riyo from doing it again. He continued getting a fright for the next three or four times before he came to predict it. Riyo hates being predictable, even to the people she holds closest, but for this, she doesn't mind. She doesn't do it all the time—maybe once a fortnight at most or whenever they've both had a rough day—but maybe she ought to.
Ever since Rudo fell from the Sphere, things have been a bit more than hectic for the Cleaners. That isn't to say it's Rudo's fault, but it is weirdly coincidental and incredibly inconvenient. Everyone has been marginally more tired than they used to be, especially her, Zanka, and Enjin. Not only is it dangerous to be so tired in their field of work, but all three of them have always been horrible sleepers. If it helps even just one of them, Riyo will break into Zanka's room as much as she needs to to get a good night's sleep.
And if she happens to impulsively include a wandering Rudo in the halls, then so be it.
She's almost at Zanka's room when she sees Rudo walking towards her with a rather vacant look in his eyes. Usually she would've entered Zanka's room through his window, but just for tonight she was feeling a bit different, deciding to take the normal way to his room. She's glad she did, otherwise she wouldn't have had the opportunity to invite Rudo. Speaking of, he doesn't seem to notice her, even if she's right in his line of sight. She calls out his name and waves a little, hoping to get his attention, “Hey, Rudo.”
No response.
She frowns, “Ruudooo…”
That seems to switch the lights back on in his head if the slight shake of his head and stutter in his step and breathing had anything to say about it. He blinks and his mouth mimics a fish for a few seconds before he furrows his eyebrows, “Oh. Wait, wh—...”
“It's around half past eleven, and I'm on my way to Zanka's room!” She answers his unvoiced questions.
Clearly she got his questions spot on, evident through the growing confusion on the younger's face, “How…”
She smiles, placing a hand on Rudo's shoulder and gracefully ignores the slight flinch her touch brings him, “Oh, don't mind that! Wanna join me?”
The younger's eyebrows furrow, confused at her lack of explanation this time, “Uh. What? What are you doing?”
“Going to Zanka's room.”
Riyo consciously keeps her guffaw at bay as his face drops into a deadpan expression, “Yeah, I got that. To do what?”
“To sleep…? What else am I gonna do?”
“Sl‐ Sleep?!” Rudo's face shifts into one of the most shocked expressions Riyo’s ever seen on his face before.
Before he gets a bit too caught up on invisible implications, Riyo continues, “Yes! Sometimes we cuddle when we've had a rough day or when we really need the sleep since we sleep better with the other next to us.” She leans closer to Rudo, looking around for nearby people as if she's telling him a secret, "Don't tell him I said this though; Zanka acts all tough and serious, but he's embarrassingly obvious sometimes.”
The younger seems to get it, adamantly nodding his head before stopping abruptly. His expression grows confused again, “And… you want me to join?”
She nods, grinning, “Yeah, why not!”
“Doesn't—...” He pauses and swallows, “Doesn't Zanka hate me?”
Riyo stares at Rudo who doesn't meet her eyes and watches as he starts to play with his hands, nervous. She snorts rather unceremoniously, “Rudo… You believe him?”
His eyes snap up to stare at her, looking taken aback and offended. His defensiveness bleeds into his tone, his words coming out harsher than she thinks they were meant to sound, “What?”
She puts her hand back on his shoulder, thankfully without a flinch from the other. She pretends to wipe a tear from her eye, “Rudo… Zanka's just like that. He might seem like he doesn't care, but I promise you he does. He's serious and acts like he has a stick up his ass most of the time, but he's just emotionally constipated. Most of the Cleaners are, actually. Especially Enjin.”
“Emotionally… constipated?” Riyo smiles at the constipated look Rudo has on his face. He doesn't know he was included in that statement.
“Eh, don't worry about it. Point is, Zanka doesn't hate you. Now c'mon! Let's go annoy him,” Riyo takes Rudo's arm gently, giving him enough opportunity to pull away if he wants.
He never does. From what Riyo can tell, Rudo might seem stand-offish and unapproachable, but he seeks touch and connection just as much as any other person does; perhaps even more. He hasn't been around for very long, but Riyo is more than willing to give him as many opportunities and chances as she needs to until he starts feeling like he belongs.
When Riyo first joined the Cleaners, she was the same way. When Zanka first joined the Cleaners, he was the same way. She might not be a mind-reader, but she understands how Rudo might feel just being in the HQ for the first few months. Luckily, she knows how she can help, and even luckier is Rudo allowing her to. Given the younger's track record for accepting help, she knows not to take it for granted.
Zanka's room is barely a minute away from where they were standing, and Riyo doesn't even bother knocking on his door before opening it. He used to lock his door all the time during the first few months he was at HQ, regardless of whether or not he was in his room. However, as time went by and he got more comfortable at the HQ and around the other Cleaners, he stopped. He still locks it when he goes to sleep—just like everyone else—but he learned that there's no reason to lock it when he's just sitting in his room meditating or doing whatever else he does in there. She and Enjin are especially grateful for this change, considering the less than stellar scares Zanka has given them in the past.
Barging in, Riyo announces herself with a smile she just knows Zanka finds annoying, “Hey, Zanka.”
Sitting on his bed cross-legged with his Lovely Assisstaff is Zanka, not even opening his eyes as he grimaces just at her presence. Reactions like that are what Riyo finds so enjoyable about doing things like this, outside of the comforting feeling of cuddling with someone she views as a brother, of course…
He grumbles, “Wha'dya want, Riyo?”
“Where's the fun in telling you that? Anyway, it's almost midnight, so stop meditating.”
Zanka opens his eyes to shoot Riyo a nasty look, “Hah? What're ya doin’ askin’ me to stop meditatin’? What happened to annoyin’ me until I stopped? When'd ya learn what manners are?”
Riyo visibly deflates, feigning a wince, “Ouhh… Three in a row…”
The older huffs, going back to what he was doing without even realising Rudo hiding behind her. She should probably tell him he's here, huh…
“Oh, by the way, I brought Rudo.”
That got Zanka's attention, his eyes snapping open and whipping his neck around to look at her incredulously. He leans a bit to make his eyes meet with the younger boy before they go back to Riyo's, “What.”
The girl groans, “Oh, don't give me that. Your bed's big enough for three of us; plus, Rudo's teeny tiny.”
“Hey,” comes Rudo's attempt at denying it. She pats his shoulder in response, which seems to be enough to make him realise he'll just be fighting a losing battle if he continues.
Still, Zanka doesn't seem convinced, “I never said he could join! Ya never told me he'd be comin’!”
Riyo put her hands on her hips, shifting her weight from one leg to another with a critical look, “I never tell you when I'm gonna do this.”
Zanka stares at her, his earlier incredulous look still evident in his eyes. He doesn't seem to be able to find a comeback, so he looks away and grumbles, irked at the situation he's found himself in. Riyo rolls her eyes fondly, walking further in the room and urging Rudo to follow her as well.
She sits on the bed right next to Zanka, taking care to avoid his vital instrument as she does so, “Don't be such a sourpuss, Zanka. It won't kill you to drop the ‘I hate you’ act, because it isn't fooling me and it definitely isn't fooling Enjin!”
The mention of Enjin is always a sure way to go when talking to Zanka, but now all he does is grumble. Riyo doesn't bother mulling that over, deciding it to be a later conversation as Zanka responds, “I am not a sourpuss.”
From the corner of her eye, she sees Rudo cross his arms, “No no, you are.”
Consigning to her fate of watching these two bicker, Riyo sits back and smiles, watching as Zanka's eyes snap to Rudo's. Leave it to Rudo to get Zanka's blood boiling and anger bleeding into face and tone just from one sentence alone. “Oi! Shut it, germbag! Yer the last person I want ta hear that from, Rudo!”
Rudo scowls, quickly recovering from his short-lived shock at the older's immediate defensiveness, “Who are you calling germbag, jerkface?!”
“Oh, ya know ‘im very well,” Zanka seethes through gritted teeth.
“You—!”
Smiling slightly, Riyo butts in before they end up laying into each other at midnight, “Alright, alright! That's enough, guys. I'm tired as hell and I came here for a full night's sleep, so get your shit together.”
The two boys glower as they look away from each other and Riyo suddenly feels like she's an adult dealing with two twelve year olds. She distantly wonders if this is how Bro Santa feels, being the leader of Team Child and all… She shakes her head, no, the kids in Team Child are way more well-mannered than these two.
Rudo gets over their little… whatever that was, before Zanka does, but he doesn't seem to know what to do. The oldest of the three huffs before moving towards his spot nearest to the wall, obviously still miffed and not letting go of his Lovely Assisstaff for even one second. She really does wonder how he can sleep cuddled up next to wood. Of course, she's his vital instrument, but… Riyo doesn't think she would ever cuddle up to the Ripper like that. Maybe. She might try it tomorrow night.
Zanka sighs, grumbling as usual, “Fine. Whatever. Do what ya want, just don't kick me in yer sleep.”
By the time he finishes that sentence, Zanka is already turning around after shooting a warning glare at Rudo, so he doesn't get to see the little spark of hope and excitement in Rudo's eyes like Riyo does. It's hard to forget Rudo is only fifteen when he reacts like that to the most basic of things, such as sharing a bed with someone. She supposes he probably just hasn't done this before, at least with someone who isn't Regto. But even then, he hasn't had the opportunity to do that for a long time now, and he never will again.
Riyo frowns at her thoughts but takes her spot on the bed, laying down on the edge to make room for Rudo in the middle. Looking up at the boy, she pats the spot next to her and smiles, “Come on, Rudo. Got plenty of room for you here.”
Zanka grunts in disdain but all he gets as a reaction is a kick in the back from Riyo. She ignores the growl that elicits from Zanka, knowing he wouldn't dare try to tackle her, and smiles as Rudo crawls over her to get to the spot between the two of them, albeit hesitantly.
Now, Riyo has always been a little bit of a hugger. She will never fail to enjoy a little bit of a cuddle. She knows it, Enjin knows it, Zanka knows it; now it's Rudo's turn. As soon as he lays down, she turns to face him and gently places her hand in his hair, carding through it. Belatedly, she thinks she probably should've waited a little longer for Rudo to actually settle in, but it's too late now. She feels the way he tenses up at the sudden touch, but despite feeling a bit of guilt eating at her for making him uncomfortable, she doesn't pull away. Instead, she chooses to massage his scalp in hopes of changing her touch into a more soothing one. She trusts that Rudo will pull away if he doesn't want the touch, and that trust holds true as she feels him relax and melt into her touch.
Riyo smiles softly as she watches the younger close his eyes in response to her soothing touch. His breathing evens out after a few minutes and she feels shocked, yet pleased that she was able to get someone usually so sleep-averse to fall asleep so quickly. He must've been exhausted. Whether it's her touch specifically, the warmth of her and Zanka's body heat, or the simple knowledge that he's next to them, Riyo doesn't particularly care. As long as he sleeps well, the way he falls asleep doesn't matter.
As she cards her hand through Rudo's hair, fiddling with the ends, her smile turns into a smirk as she looks past Rudo at Zanka's stubborn back. She wonders if he's jealous…
She whispers, “Hey, Zanka.”
He doesn't reply.
“Zaaankaa,” She drags out. Talk about déjà vu.
Probably seeing no way out, Zanka grumbles out a slurred, “Whuh.”
She pouts despite the older not being able to see her, her hand not faltering as she continues raking it through Rudo's hair. Seriously, for the environment he said he grew up in, his hair feels so nice. “Stop being antisocial and turn around.”
“‘m not.”
She huffs, “You totally are.”
It seems Zanka's feeling extra subdued tonight, because he does what she wants with barely any complaints. He turns around carefully, making sure to not jostle the bed too much or touch Rudo with his Lovely Assisstaff.
“Wha'dya wan’...” He slurs, and Riyo finds it in herself to be proud that she can understand him through his accent that grows way too thick when he's tired.
“Come on… I know it's weird having Rudo join, but don't be a grouch about it. It's midnight; let it go. Rudo won't mind,” Riyo smiles, reaching out her free hand as an invitation for if he wants her to place his Lovely Assisstaff against her usual place on the wall.
She watches multiple emotions flick through his tired eyes before he sighs, hesitantly giving Riyo his vital instrument. Zanka watches her like a hawk, making sure Riyo treats his Lovely Assisstaff like she should, no doubt mere seconds away from regretting his decision to let Riyo handle her. It's close to giving her a shiver up her spine, but not quite. Riyo has been on the receiving end of that stare multiple times; she's practically immune now. If anything, she's mostly just proud and flattered to be trusted to touch his vital instrument. After all, being entrusted to hold a giver's vital instrument is tantamount to being entrusted to someone's very soul.
After gently placing Lovely Assisstaff down against the wall, Riyo turns back to a sleeping Rudo and a hesitant Zanka. She plants her hand back in Rudo's hair and studies Zanka, waiting for his response.
After a minute of nothing, Riyo breaks the silence with a shit-eating grin forming across her face, “You jealous?”
Even through his exhaustion, Zanka sputters, whisper-yelling at the girl, “Wha—? No!”
She giggles, not buying it, “Really?”
“Really.”
He looks determined to not let her have the win this time, so she relents. She probably wouldn't have gotten anywhere, anyway. Zanka usually wears his heart on his sleeve, and the way he decides to combat this is through denying anything to do with his emotions. He could be crying openly in front of her and he'd still deny it. He's stubborn, but even that has an end to it; she just needs to be patient.
“You look so stiff. Just get comfortable already, grumpy.”
The older looks unsure, but he gives in to her pushing, much to her enjoyment. He frowns at Rudo's sleeping form, thinking something over before placing an arm across the younger, resting his face on his pillow slightly above Rudo's head. Riyo assumes he was thinking if his comfort is worth the embarrassment of waking up cuddled all together.
She smiles at the older, “There you go, stupid. Was that so hard?”
He huffs and closes his eyes to avoid her own, “Shaddup. Go to bed.”
“Alright, alright. Goodnight, Zankaaa…”
Ever the joyful teen, he mumbles something under his breath. She doesn't know what he says, but she decides to let it go as he follows it up with a soft, “G'night.”
Riyo stays awake until she sees the pinch between Zanka's eyebrows fade and hears his breathing even out. She smiles and closes her eyes, nuzzling a little closer to Rudo for some more comfort. It seems she's in for a good night's sleep after all.
Riyo wakes up ready to go right back to sleep and that's how she knows she had a good sleep. No waking up in the middle of the night, no nightmares, no nothing. Even better was the other two not having any of the above as well. If there's anything she should gain from this, it's that she should have sleepovers with Zanka and Rudo more often.
She almost does fall back asleep, and she most likely would've if the knowledge that Rudo and Zanka were next to her didn't sink in when it did. The girl rolls onto her back and stretches, only stopping when she feels both of her legs almost snap because of how good the stretch was. She opens her eyes and turns to her right at the two next to her.
At some point through the night, Rudo turned to face Zanka instead of staying on his back. His face was half hidden in the crook of Zanka's neck, with the older boy's arm resting across the bottom of his ribs. Both of them are wearing some of the most peaceful expressions she's seen them ever wear.
Usually, the two of them have very similar expressions: eyebrows furrowed, a constant frown, and eyes trained slightly below their actual eye level, never quite looking right in front of them. Now however, Zanka's eyebrows are resting like they normally should and his mouth is just the tiniest bit open, letting out the quietest snores Riyo regretfully begins to describe as cute in her head before catching herself. She can only hear them due to the peacefulness Zanka's bedroom seems to hold whenever she wakes up in it, completely separate from the usual chaotic nature in the Cleaners HQ. And right next to him, despite Riyo not quite being able to see his face, Rudo seems as peaceful as Zanka does.
She doesn't even want to wake them up. Life on the Ground has always been hard, will continue to be hard indefinitely, and if she can drag out peaceful moments like this, then she will try her hardest to do so. That being said, she really wishes she had a camera on her right now.
As if sensing her plotting, Zanka's eyes flutter open with a complaint already on his lips, no doubt. He closes his eyes again immediately with a predictably irritated moan. Seriously, how does he ever get up in the morning for missions when he never even shows up until after midday on most days.
Riyo watches in amusement as he tries to turn and stops in his tracks, realising the body snuggled up to him. To both of their dismay, she fails to hold in an ugly cackle, causing Zanka to instantly sober up and snap his eyes to her face. With wide eyes, he hisses, “Shut yer mouth. Do not bring this up to anyone.”
Riyo hides her grin behind her hand even if she knows it doesn't do anything considering her mirth and amusement is so obvious in every part of her face. “Why not?” She asks, voice weak and words broken up because of her struggle to stifle her giggles.
“Riyo,” he practically begs. Zanka looks downright horrified. His usual grumpiness and occasional anger is completely drained from his being to make room for the humiliation that takes over.
“Okay, okay, I promise I won't tell anyone…” Zanka seems to relax slightly at her promise, but she isn't finished. “But you know, you haven't exactly moved away from him… or moved at all… Going soft, are you?”
That gets a scowl out of Zanka, and Riyo can almost see the excuse forming in his brain, “If I move then he'll wake up, Riyo. It's bad enough that yer seein’ it.”
“What? You think I'm gonna tell everyone?”
“Yes? What kinda question is that?”
“Even after I promised I wouldn't?”
“...Can't be too sure with ya.”
“Woow, okay. I see how it is.”
The older teen goes to respond, but Rudo shifts in his sleep a little and it feels like the world stops spinning. Zanka's eyes widen with mounting horror and Riyo stiffens with anticipation, both waiting for the younger to wake up.
…Nothing happens.
Riyo pouts and Zanka almost melts back into the mattress with an agonised and tortured whimper. He's acting like Rudo will kill him if he wakes up.
Riyo says as such.
The older just stares at her with an annoyed look on his face, not bothering to come up with something to say in response. “If the wind changes, your face will stay like thaaat,” She teases, dragging out the last word.
“Shaddup,” comes Zanka's eloquent response.
Riyo notes that he doesn't seem to be bothered to respond to her teasing like he usually does, so she decides to keep it in until later. Instead, she leaves to go to the connected bathroom. She wets her face and checks her hair, tying it in a normal ponytail for now before she does her signature hairstyle when she gets ready in her own bedroom later.
She peeks out from the bathroom's doorway to see if Zanka's doing anything different from before she left. Sure enough, he is. His arm that was resting on Rudo's upper abdomen prior has moved up to rest between the younger's shoulder blades, occasionally fiddling with his hair. He looks somewhat deep in thought, so Riyo decides to stay put in the bathroom until he looks less solemn.
She didn't have to wait long, though. Someone clearly had other ideas.
The door slams open, making Riyo jump and walk out of the bathroom in confusion at whatever or whoever made the door open so violently. At the same time, Zanka snaps his neck towards the door in fright.
It's Enjin, unsurprisingly. He grins, “Time to wake up, Zanka! It's time for— Oh.” Riyo stares at the man as he looks at the said boy in bed with a barely awake Rudo still in his arms, then to his left at Riyo. As they meet eyes, Riyo turns to Zanka in realisation.
Rudo's awake. The closest thing the Ground has to Heaven is the Sphere—which the majority despise for good reason—but at this point in time, Riyo prays for Zanka. She really does.
Zanka's entire body pauses at his late realisation, which includes leaving his hand in Rudo's hair. Riyo thinks he's acting like the younger's vision relies on movement or something… he isn't a dinosaur. They stare at each other for what feels like an entire minute in absolute silence before Rudo opens his mouth. Nothing comes out.
Both of their faces are rapidly growing red, and Riyo thinks it's hilarious.
Zanka kicks him off the bed, and Riyo thanks whatever deity comes to mind that Rudo immediately gets up again to pick a fight with him, otherwise she wouldn't be laughing as hard as she is right now.
Rudo shrieks as he falls, shouting as soon as he stands up, “Hey! What the fuck was that for?!”
“Ya were on me!”
“What! You were on me!”
Zanka squawks indignantly as if him being on Rudo was an affront to his very being, “I was not! Are ya sure ya don't need glasses?!”
“Are you sure you don't need glasses! I wake up and all I see is your ugly face and your hand in my hair!”
“Now yer just pullin’ shit outta yer ass! And get outta my bed!”
As their argument continues, Riyo looks over to Enjin. He looks slightly amused, but more tired over anything else. Maybe his age is getting to him because Riyo thinks this entire situation is absolutely hysterical.
“Alright, alright…” Enjin speaks up, making Rudo pause in his attempt to strangle Zanka. “Seriously though, we do have a mission. So get ready and meet me at the car in half an hour, okay? Stop strangling each other. And definitely don't do that while I'm driving.”
Riyo smirks, crossing her arms, “I'm glad you realise your driving's shit.”
Instead of taking what should’ve been taken as an insult, Enjin chooses to act as if she just gave him one of the highest compliments ever, “Thank you! I’m glad someone recognises that I'm one of the Cleaners’ best drivers.”
If someone dropped a pin, everyone here would be able to hear it—even Enjin and his rapidly deteriorating hearing.
“Okay, you little shits. Just get ready. Thirty minutes,” realising he was fighting a losing battle, Enjin leaves with one last reminder.
Riyo looks at the two boys and has to mask her amusement with deep breaths before she walks over to them. It's easier said than done, what with them still being paused mid strangulation attempt, but she manages. Somehow. She calls out, “Come on, Rudo! Time to get ready for another mission, aren't you excited?”
Rudo slides off the bed—or, more importantly, Zanka—and stands beside her, “Yeah. Might get some more items while we're out…”
Zanka growls from his place on his bed, clearly still pissed off but reigning it in. He sighs and follows the other two, getting off of his bed and turning to make his bed in a half-assed fashion. After, he ruffles Rudo's hair before lightly pushing his head away as he walks past, “Don't get too distracted, runt. We already know what happens when ya do.”
Rudo scowls, “Don't push me! And don't tell me what to do!”
Zanka doesn't respond, yawning as he makes his way to the bathroom. He might be the oldest of them, but he's still very clearly the youngest out of his blood siblings. It's kind of comedic, Riyo thinks.
She looks back to Rudo, whose eyes follow Zanka in wonder. She can't help herself, “You two are so grumpy with each other but the moment one of you turns around, you get all sappy.”
“I do not!” They say… at the same time.
She rolls her eyes, “Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.”
“It's true!” Rudo persists, while Riyo catches a death glare from Zanka.
She smirks. She doesn't bother expanding on what she meant, or trying to get them to understand where she's coming from. She knows she's right, and they definitely know what she means; they're just too prideful to admit it. Their bickering probably gives them a bit of peace anyway, and it's hilarious to watch as an outsider, so who is Riyo to change that?
She knows they don't hate each other in even the loosest meaning of the word. They show their love and respect in different ways to Riyo, and she understands that. If anything, she appreciates seeing the many different ways people can show their affection, even if some ways are more… unconventional, she supposes.
But she digresses. She needs to get ready for another day's work before Enjin pops a vein, as funny as that would be.
“Chop chop, Rudo. Let's go get changed and leave Zanka to brood.”
“Shaddup and get yer ass outta my room.”
Well. Needless to say, she is definitely inviting Rudo to another sleepover with her and Zanka.
