Summary
When you are one of the most prolific spies in the world it isn’t weird to see things were they’re not, because of course the people chasing you wouldn’t use conventional methods to catch you, but what Loid saw in front of him wasn’t something that he expected to happen.
There was some strange man talking to his wife, or a stranger to Loid at least, who had checked any connections Yor had at least 2 times due to the rumors spread by the pesky old women from the floor below about how she surely was searching for someone else while he was probably cheating on her during his prolongated absence in the last days. Of course, he was on long exhausting missions assigned to him last minute since Monday, how unacceptable, trying to get to him through his wife was, as Loid believed, the lowest the SSS had fallen.
Clearly it’s only the paranoia caused by the accumulated stress and exhaustion from the last days, but he doesn't seem to understand right now, and after all that he has done and solved, Loid’s perspective and reasoning are off, and that can be very dangerous for a man with as many secrets as he.
