Summary
Prince Anaxagoras has always been an elusive figure ever since he was a child; focusing more on his personal research and search for knowledge than attending war meetings, leading armies or hunting in his spare time. He wasn’t popular in court either, in fact, there were multiple plots against him. And so, for his protection, his mother had assigned him a personal knight: Phainon, one of the youngest to lead multiple successful campaigns and seemed like the perfect fit. A strong, heroic deliverer.
However, as the two spent time together, feelings bloomed between the two and they’ve found themselves dancing in the shadows to continue their relationship. Phainon being a mere knight, despite a highly respected and successful one, would never be a match for the prince. He seemed content to keep their relationship hidden, till news surged that Prince Anaxagoras was bound to be wed off to the crown prince of Kremnos. Would Phainon be able to let his love marry another? Or would he fight for it at the cost of his knighthood?
