"Painty.. Paintyyuhhhh.." Lightbulb whined and groaned and moaned, having rolled over to tug at the sleeve of Paintbrush's t-shirt.
"Huh..guh.. whuh? What?" Paintbrush blinked blearily, and turned their head on their pillow to look over at the girl in their bed. Woah. They forgot they were sharing a bed. Fan's fat ass wouldn't give up his bed for Lightbulb, so she and Paintbrush were forced to share. Well, she could've just slept on the floor, but Paintbrush wouldn't let her.
"I'm boredddd.. and I can't sleep.." Lightbulb complained, rolling over onto her back and staring at Paintbrush with those stupid big ass eyes.
Paintbrush sat up in the bed, and sighed, "Well, now I won't be able to get back to sleep.. What do you want to do?"
"We should.. uh.." Lightbulb scratched her chin, a dumb look on her face. She glanced around, and her eyes fell upon the digital clock on Paintbrush's nightstand. It was about 2:30am.. almost 3am.. the evil hour.. "Let's order something off of the dark web!"
"What." Paintbrush stared blankly at Lightbulb, but before they could protest much she was hopping out of bed and dragging Paintbrush along with her by the wrist to their desk. She sat down in their chair, and Paintbrush stood over her shoulder. Tired and not thinking about it, they put an elbow on Lightbulb's shoulder and leaned on her.
Where Lightbulb went wasn't really the dark web. Lightbulb insisted it was, but Paintbrush could tell it was just a regular shop website. A novelty shop, by the looks of it. They scrolled for a while, occasionally pausing to make fun of an item.
Something eventually caught both of their attentions; a supposed 'gay potion.'
"No because what would that even do."
"Lol do you think Mic and Taco drank that?"
"Did you just say L-O-L out loud?"
"Yes. Yes I did, Painty."
"You- Whatever. Let's just buy it I guess."
"Okay!"
It was not long at all before the alleged homosexual elixir arrived. Anything ordered by someone at Hotel OJ arrived quickly. It was weird and nobody knew why it happened like that, but it was quite convenient. Especially now, when Lightbulb really wanted to drink this weird beverage at 3am.
Paintbrush was the one to go downstairs and retrieve it, and when they came back Lightbulb was pretty much vibrating. She was bouncing up and down, and almost launched herself at Paintbrush when they came back into the room.
"OMGA, is that it? That's it, right? Right? That's the potion?"
"Uh, I mean, yeah. I wouldn't grab a random ass package."
"YAY! Open it, open it! C'mon, Painty, open it already!"
"Oh my lord, Lightbulb, puh-LEASE calm yourself.."
"Sorryyyyy.. But open ittttttttt!"
Luckily for Lightbulb, Paintbrush had already retrieved a box cutter and was using it to open the package that supposedly housed the "gay potion."
When the two friends peeked into the box, there was indeed what looked like a potion. A stereotypical rounded glass bottle, with a rainbow hued liquid swirling inside of it.
"Woah, it's so pretty! I'll go get cups!" and with that, Lightbulb was darting out of the room to get glasses from the kitchen downstairs. Paintbrush didn't quite trust her not to accidentally drop and break them on her way back up the stairs to them and Fan's room, but alas she was already far gone.
Lightbulb actually returned fairly quickly, and with perfectly intact cups. She pushed a cup into Paintbrush's hands, and grabbed the bottle. Once she poured them a glass, she managed to squeeze her cup tightly enough between her thighs that it stayed still so she could pour her own. She capped the bottle, and put it back in the box.
"Cheers!"
"Uh. Cheers, I guess?"
They gently bumped their cups together, and took a large sip at the same time.
Paintbrush was starting to think that potion was legit. Why else would they suddenly be unable to stop staring at Lightbulb?
This was so awkward. They were both just staring at each other, wide-eyed. Was Lightbulb always that pretty? Did her eyes always shine like that, and did she always have that little tiny stubble? Lord help them, she was suddenly drop dead gorgeous.
Slowly, so slowly it was barely noticable, they leaned towards each other. Their cups had been exiled to the nightstand- Paintbrush's or Fan's, neither of them could quite remember. Eventually, their lips met. It was nothing but a soft brush that made both of them jolt, but neither of them wanted to pull away.
They kept leaning in closer. Closer, closer, closer still, until both pairs of eyes fell shut and their lips really locked together. Lightbulb began to shift herself closer and closer, until her knees bumped against Paintbrush's.
Lightbulb seemed to not be satisfied with just kissing Paintbrush. She grabbed at Paintbrush's hips, until she managed to force them up into standing on their knees and then forward into her lap. Geez. They knew she was decently strong, but.. wow. Hot.
Of course, the kiss had broken during this process, so now Paintbrush was staring right at Lightbulb, wide-eyed and face burning so hot they felt like they could just burst into flames. They didn't have too much time to be flustered, though, because almost immediately Lightbulb was kissing them again— and a little forcefully this time. Not forceful in the sense that they didn't want it, they awanted this more than anything at the moment, but in the sense that she was pushing her lips against theirs. It was hot. Paintbrush liked it. They liked being in her lap. They liked this.
Maybe they liked this a little too much. It was super sudden, after all. Not to mention supposedly caused by some stupid potion Lightbulb decided to buy off of a novelty store website. But that didn't matter to Paintbrush right now, because all that mattered was how soft Lightbulb's lips right now and how heavenly it was to be close to her.
They'd been close to her before, sure, but it had never felt like this. This was so much different, so new for both of them. Paintbrush would be a horrible, horrible liar to say that they'd never had any feelings towards Lightbulb, they'd been coming to terms with that recently, but it was so much stronger now. They felt like they never wanted to move, wanted to stay here with her forever.
Lightbulb and Paintbrush were too busy kissing each other silly to talk, which meant the room went quiet. Which meant they could hear everything. When they parted for breath, they could faintly hear something over their mingled breathing.
Fan's music. He had gone to sleep with earbuds in, with music playing so loudly the other two in the room could hear it. Neither of them knew the song, but it very much sounded like some emo shit.
Lightbulb and Paintbrush slowly looked across the room to Fan's bed, then back to each other.
Lightbulb spoke first, "Painty.. You know I'm scared of emos."
