Another day, another chip in the porcelain.
Everette was a doll made for fighting yet they weren't very sturdy. It seemed stupid, honestly, how they were made of porcelain but expected to kill.
Now here they were, mending their broken parts.
They didn't know how to feel about the cracks that ran across their skin and the liquid gold piecing them back together.
On one hand, it was part of the job. Everette didn't care much and mostly felt indifferent about their broken parts because it was expected in this line of work.
But on the other hand...
As they held the carefully cut porcelain onto their face as the golden glue dried, they couldn't help but wonder what life they could've lived if they weren't made for war.
Would I even exist at all?
They had mixed feelings about this life, always having that little thought in their head going what if?
It was hard sometimes, knowing they were made to be a soldier and nothing more. Following orders that sent them straight into danger without a care if this time would be the one to shatter them completely.
But this was Everette's life and they would live it until the end.
