Summary:

Apple and Darling are dating

Chapter 1: First Date

Chapter Text

Apple had just finished doing her makeup and was currently in her closet looking for what outfit to wear for her first date with Darling. Apple had picked out an outfit and walked out of the closet to get her roommate's opinion.

“Raven, what do you think?” Apple asked

Raven looks up from her mirror phone to see Apple in the most extravagant dress in the world; if it were white, you would think that she was looking for a wedding dress.

“your going to a carnival, not a ball” Raven commented.

Apple looks down at the over-the-top dress she was wearing.

“Right, this is far too much,” Apple said while rushing back into her closet to change.

After a bit of time passes, Apple comes back out with a new outfit.

“So, what about this one?” Apple asked.

“Looks cute,” Raven said while looking at Apple in the new outfit that kind of reminded Raven of the spring fairest dress Lizzie had made but with far fewer flowers.

“Ok, got it, not good enough,” Apple said before returning again to her closet.

“What I said was it was good,” Raven said.

“Yeah, but it needs to look perfect; Darling deserves nothing less,” Apple argues.

“Well, that is very sweet. I think you're going to need to settle since she'll be arriving any second now,” Raven said trying to have Apple calm down.

“What, is she really?” Apple said with worry in her voice.

“It’s 11:58, so yes,” Raven informs as she turns off her mirror phone.

Apple rushes out of her closet to her vanity.

“Are you sure this outfit is good enough?” Apple asked as she applied some slightly more blush to her cheeks.

“Yes, and Darling is going to find you beautiful no matter what, so try not to worry too much,” Raven says as she moves some of Apple's hair away from her face.
They suddenly hear knocking coming from the door.

Apple’s heart starts beating faster as she does one last quick check of her makeup and dress in her vanity mirror.

“Come on, Apple,” Raven said while grabbing hands and pulling her across the room.

Apple lets go of Raven and takes a few steps before reaching the door and twisting the doorknob to open the door to see Darling holding a bouquet of flowers. Apple and Darling lay their eyes on each other and are quickly mesmerized.

“You look perfect, Apple, as always,” Darling said as she rubs her neck anxiously and hands the bouquet of flowers.

Apple's cheeks turned red, and she became flushed as she grabbed the bouquet and smelleded them.

“Thank you for the roses; you don't look too shabby yourself,” she says as she rubs her neck anxiously.

Darling was wearing a white tank top with a dark blue vest over it, a light blue skirt coming out of it with long light blue socks that reach up to her knees. Her heels were short and blue with pink details. It was really not what Apple was expecting, but Darling looked beautiful either way.

Darling lends out her arm, and Apple leaves her flowers in her dorm and then closes her dorm door before taking hold of Darling’s arm.

While walking through the school, Apple grabs onto Darling’s hand. While they wrapped their arms around each other, their heart rate spiked before calming down as
They held each other's hands, and it just felt right.

Once they arrived at the carnival. The two girls were a little loose about what to do next.

“So, any ideas of what you want to do first, my princess?” Darling asked.

“What about the haunted house?” Apple suggested to Darling surprise.

“Wow, I was not expecting you to be a Haunted House fan,” Darling replied.

“What do you think, am I going to get scared?” Apple says

“No, I just didn’t think it was the first thing you would think of,” Darling says in return.

“Well, come on, my knight, let’s go,” Apple remarked as she pulled Darling, and the girlfriends started running towards the haunted house.

After having gone through the haunted house. The haunted house was a black tent with a green and purple entrance. Inside was a bunch of jump scares, none of them really being scary, and there was even some graffiti that was signed by a certain feline classmate.

“Ok, when it comes to the carnival to the haunted house, that one was pretty good,” Apple tells Darling as they are leaving the carnival attraction.

“Sure, I guess,” Darling replies.

The two princesses start walking and going through the rest of the carnival. They bought some cotton candy, went on some roller coasters, and played some games.
