Minghao goes back to professional League of Legends and gets far more from it than he expected.
“Hi! We’re so excited that you’re here,” the man says. He’s speaking Chinese. How interesting. Minghao hates it. “Minghao, right?”
“Myungho,” Minghao says. He’ll speak Korean in this house or he’ll kill himself. Chinese reminds him too much of home, of himself, and it’s too intimate. This man, this new teammate, shouldn’t know enough about Minghao to speak Chinese to him. “Nice to meet you.”
The man’s smile only falters a little bit. “Nice to meet you too. I’m Junhwi.”
“I know,” Minghao says. He doesn’t say it like a compliment, because it isn’t. He knows Junhui. Not a compliment.
