Enjolras takes over the direction of an Asylum on the outskirts of Paris after a series of scandals surrounding the facility found the previous director imprisoned. In his first days, one patient in particular catches his interest. Grantaire is different from the others and, for better or worse, Enjolras finds himself drawn to him.
