Summary
Ori and Fíli are in two different worlds. Ori is a quiet student who would rather spend time with his favorite professor than any of his peers. He keeps to himself and doesn't participate in student life if he can help it. Fíli is captain of the rugby team and popular with everyone, faculty included. He and Ori's paths do not cross until the fall of Ori's final year, in which he and Fíli end up sitting next to each other in a Baroque Architecture course. They strike up a friendship, feeling themselves inexplicably drawn to one another. Unbeknownst to the two dwarves, they are already intimately familiar with each other, due to their communication on the university's anonymous digital pen-pal program.
