   Summary

   Liam is a capable NCIS agent. Too bad his mother, the NCIS director, doesn't see things that way. His mother is still stuck in the past, when Liam was her little girl Sophie. Despite the noticeable changes in appearance and name, the Director refuses to honor either of them because she's transphobic. This is problematic.
