    “Hey, you,” Ed says awkwardly. Roy hums, but then manages to look down at him. There’s a glint to his eye in the sunlight, making his brown eyes look more amber than usual. “I like you.”

    “Oh?” Roy asks. He seems happy about that. “Well, it’s a good thing I like you too, Edward.”

    Ed has to tear his face off of Roy’s before the bastard can see him grinning about it.

    It’s the first heat he and Roy will share together where the world hasn’t been ending. Things go well.
