Hi, all. Just following up on our morning meeting to remind everyone that you should all be running plans through a conflict check with legal prior to sending it on to the action committee. I know everyone is excited about the event (biggest marketing day of the year, woo!) but we also need to make sure the company lasts past said event. That’s kind of a big deal. Yunho is here to help out. Please utilize him.

> No, a human cannon will not be used at a company sponsored event, no matter how many waivers are signed. If someone dies, we’re going to be subjected to the fallout. Let's avoid court, even if we would, technically, probably win. I don’t like going to court.
> New logo idea, as described, looks exactly like the Splatoon logo. Not only is this an IP issue, but it comes across as inappropriate when used in conjunction with the company chili pepper graphic. I will not elaborate. Please come up with a better logo idea, or we will ask graphic design to do it for you.
> Home-cooked food. If this were a department only event, a pot-luck would be fine. As it stands, we cannot allow Yeosang to food poison half of the city, no matter how down to earth it makes us look.
> Marketing Department Strike. No matter how upset you are at me, a department-wide strike during the biggest marketing event of the year is not going to help boost marketing. Consider striking after the event, if you must, though I’d advise you have a better reason than wanting me fired.

> Bouncy castle. This is a good way to encourage family participation.
> Catered lunch. Your choice. As long as none of you are cooking.
> Voter registration. Yeah. I guess there’s no issues with that, even if it doesn’t make sense.
> Branded pens. Go for it. Everyone loves a pen. Just make sure we’re not throwing pens at anyone.
It feels pertinent to mention that of the ideas screened today, all of the NOs were suggested by the Marketing Team, while only 3 of 4 of the approved items were suggested by the Marketing Team.
Hopefully this is a good start for Monday, and we can all move forward knowing what kinds of things are in the realm of possibility. Thanks, guys!

Yunho rolls his neck, letting out a long sigh as his apartment door clicks open. He takes off his shoes on the mat, and drops his briefcase in the hallway. He’ll deal with it later, right now, he’s hungry.
It’s been a long week. Hongjoong has been on his ass about contracts for Q2, and the marketing department has been a massive pain in the neck after the great logo debacle. Thank God it's Friday.
Now that he thinks about it, he’s pretty sure Hongjoong directed Jongho to assign Seonghwa to admin rather than marketing because he likes Seonghwa more than Yunho. Yunho got stuck with the absolute worst of it (the clowns in marketing) because he’s not moony-eyed over the boss like Seonghwa is. Life isn’t fair.
He bends down and pulls a pot out of the cabinet next to the stove. Ramyeon will have to do. He might die by the time anything else heats up.
The water boils painfully slowly. Taunting him. His jaw shifts, head pounding. When the door clicks open a second later, his ears perk up, shoulders automatically relaxing.
He waits until he hears footsteps walk into the kitchen before opening his mouth.
“What took you so long?” he asks, only a little grumpy.
“I’m sorry, baby.”
The sound of a plastic bag hitting the counter is quickly followed by long arms winding around Yunho’s waist, hands wandering up his chest to play with the top buttons of his shirt. (To undo the buttons on his shirt.)
A button pops open. Then two. Yunho shivers when he feels hot breath against his neck. A kiss placed behind his ear. One of the hands at Yunho’s neck moves to turn off the stove. Yunho makes a tiny noise of complaint, staring sadly at his half-boiled pot of water. Before he can get upset about it, the gap is filled in.
“I was getting us dinner. You hate cooking on Fridays,” Mingi says. "I stopped by the place you like around the corner from the office."
"Oh," Yunho says. He surrenders completely as Mingi keeps kissing down the side of his neck. A long, thin breath falls from Yunho’s lips. He leans back, melting into Mingi’s chest.
Just as Mingi reaches his shoulder, out of skin to kiss, Yunho wiggles to turn himself around in his arms.
Mingi grins, completely full of himself. His glasses are fogging up from being so close to Yunho. From mouthing at his neck like a starved man.
Yunho wants to scold Mingi for making his work day more difficult. He knows that if he did scold him, Mingi would argue that he didn't make it more difficult, he made it more interesting. And then Yunho would be forced to cede, because Mingi would be right. He hates ceding.
Work is more interesting with Mingi bothering him. It always has been. When Mingi got hired, Yunho knew intuitively that he was going to hate or love him.
“I love you,” Yunho says, pushing Mingi’s glasses up into his hair. “Thank you for getting dinner. I hate cooking on Fridays.”
“You’re welcome, baby. I love you too.” Mingi smiles his crooked smile, warming Yunho from the inside out.
Mingi lets Yunho drag him in by the back of his head, one of Yunho's hands tangled in his hair. Their mouths meet in the middle. Mingi tastes like the coffee he probably drank right before he left the office. He touches Yunho as gently as he always does. Like Yunho is the most precious thing. Mingi grabs Yunho’s waist and pulls him closer, until they're flush together. They stand in the middle of their kitchen for a bit, just lazily kissing. The perfect sort of Friday night thing.
“If you don’t stop flirting with me over Slack, Haseul is going to figure us out,” Yunho murmurs into Mingi’s mouth.
“Okay. Let her." Mingi snorts. He gives Yunho another peck on the center of his mouth before leaning back to grab their food. "It’s been a year and a half. I don’t know how it’s possible none of them have figured us out yet.”
