“I guess you’re gonna stay the night then, huh?” Seungmin asks and Minho just hums in response, his tired body feeling like it’s melting into the fluffy pillows as he tries to settle back into them.
Right then, there is the sound of a door opening down the hallway, followed by quiet footsteps. It’s also in that moment that Minho remembers that they are not alone in the apartment. Because apparently Seungmin’s roommate is actually home and outside of his room for once while Minho is here. The prospect of finally witnessing both Seungmin and his roommate at home at the same time after almost two years of them living together wakes Minho up immediately. A few seconds later said roommate appears in the doorway to the living room, looking equal parts annoyed, confused, and very sleepy.

The vein was given the Latin name Vena amoris or, directly translated, the ‘vein of love’. “I got you a job, just a small photoshoot, will only take a day but it pays really well” Yeosang whispered after several minutes of silence.
“You didn’t have to” Wooyoung sighed, “besides I don’t know if I can…”
“You know Paradigm? The agency I model for on the side sometimes? They just had to fire their old team for leaking concepts/ideas to other agencies, while they look for a new team they need a few people to take on all of their pre-planned shoots. I got you a slot on one of the days, I’d be there too as well” Yeosang smiled and dabbed at Wooyoung’s nose with a tissue.
“When?” Wooyoung asked.
“Next Friday, midday until about 5/6pm” Yeosang explained.
Wooyoung hummed, maybe he’d feel a bit better by then, but he doubted it.
“Just think about it” Yeosang encouraged.
Wooyoung just wanted to say no straight away, he wanted to flat out refuse but he needed the money, he needed to do something other than this. Plus Yeosang had gone out of his way to arrange all of this for him, and he was never one to say no to his best friend.
“I will” Wooyoung nodded.

Summary
Yunho is between writing gigs. His mother offers him a killer deal: move into the house she recently inherited and renovate it to sell. It'll bring in some money, if he can get the electricity to stop flickering. Or the heater to actually warm the place up. Or silence whatever is making that scratching noise in the walls.
Meanwhile, a small group of men in town have gotten bored enough to begin a project, one they don’t want folks in town to know about. It’s a dead town, people say, one that will disappear in another generation, since everyone who’s anyone moves away the first chance they get. These leftover boys, though, the ones that stayed - they think the “dead town” name has more to it. They think there are ghosts. And they are determined to prove it.
With a little luck, Yunho meets The Aurora Society for Paranormal Investigation. Before he knows it, his life gets tied in with all seven of theirs, and tied into the town itself. Will they ever catch proof? Who knows. But they’ll have each other to scream with along the way.
