Summary
Miami sucked; that much Josh knew from the beginning. As a kid growing up in rural, Northern, buttfuck Florida, he had always wanted to live in a city, and had made that dream come true right out of college. But it was time to move on, grow up, and settle down in a small town with his partner.
Fortunately, there is a quiet mountain town looking for a new fifth grade teacher. Unfortunately, it’s for a class of kids who have been labelled as nothing but trouble from day one, and who have been through hell and back again. And there’s nothing worse than nearly dying in Peru or Somalia or Canada than having to learn basic geometry.
