It's been 2 years since Jo knocked Meg out of the beach to run off and fight to save Tokyo. Meg has been doing jobs around Tokyo, she's brought in a few criminals, she had never killed any of them, it wasn't something she has the heart to do. Ever since Jo went missing, people still wanted to track her down, it's never normal for a highly wanted and well known person just to disappear. Meg had found the whole thing of finding Jo stupid, she knew Jo would only be found if she wanted to be...but still she still wondered if she was alright sometimes.
One late night in Tokyo, Meg was in her apartment when she got a call from a organization she had been working for, she picked up the call "hey." Meg said, barley even awake currently. A older guys voice came though, one that Meg recognized as the head of the company, Reo, he was a nice guy and put a lot of his trust on Meg to catch people who had been harming or vandalizing his work. "Hey, sorry to call you so late but we have a serious issue." Reo tone was a lot more harsh than any other time he'd called Meg which put her a bit on edge "What happened?" There was a quiet typing sound on the other end for a few seconds before Reo responded "There has been a infiltration on the main systems, all of our systems are down. Whoever hacked into our computers left a message, it's coordinates to a place out south. Your our most capable soldier, so I want you to go check it out. I'll pay you extra than any of your other missions if you bring the person who did this to me, or in sure they are dead." Meg was silent for a moment, they had never gotten hacked before, this person must be a pretty admirable hacker to be able to get into their systems. Meg didn't really want to go at the moment but the thought of getting paid more convinced her "Alright I'm in. Send the coordinates to me and ready Kana. I'll head out right away." "Great, thank you Meg. I'll send the coords now. Stay safe." Reo sounded a bit relieved that Meg agreed "Yeah, I got it, I'll update you when I get any information." Meg said, a slight shifting noise coming from her side as she was getting ready, Reo let out a relieved sigh "Alright thanks again, Kana is almost there and the coordinations have been sent." Reo hangs up leaving Meg in silence in her apartment putting her gear on.
Meg grabbed Jo's jacket, pausing and looking at it, she wasn't sure why it's getting to her now, she's been fine every other time but now she could feel her eyes burning, and she couldn't help but wonder where Jo went after leaving her. Meg tried to tell herself she hated Jo after she left her but she couldn't bring her self to make that a reality. After all she understands Jo just wanted to protect her. Meg is snapped out of her thoughts as she hears the sound of Kana landing outside, quickly putting Jos jacket on and running out of her apartment. She saw Kana parked outside in a near by parking lot. Kana is a red cybot, identical to Jango, in Jo's honor. Meg wasted no time getting into the cybot and start flying over to the coordinates.
It took a few hours to reach the coordinates Reo sent but once she landed it seemed to be a abandoned warehouse out in the middle of nowhere. Meg decided it was best to get out of Kana and look around. As Meg searched the area it didn't seem like anyone had been there and years, she continued to look around the area, the darkness of the warehouse made her wish she would have brought a flashlight but she could manage.
While searching she was starting to think no one was there and this was just a dead end to waste her time, she took her phone from her pocket to went to contact Reo but then she heard footsteps approaching the wearhouse, Meg quickly grabbed her gun from her holster aiming it towards the entrance. It was hard to see the person but they seemed unfazed by Meg's actions but didn't continue moving closer, they didn't seem like a threat, Meg stood strong hold her gun steadily pointed at the person chest. "Who are you." The person didn't speak for a few seconds before speaking "I need your help, Meg." Meg froze her stance became unsteady and her gun lowering instinctively. "Sei?"
