Summary
“This has to be one time and one time only, okay? This can never happen again,” Jisung’s fear forced him to sharpen.
“Okay,” Minho agreed quietly. He couldn’t quite look Jisung in the eyes. His fingers picked the sheets in thought.
Silence stretched in the empty space between them in the warmth of the sun.
“Where do you suppose the one time ends?” Minho eventually offered. “Did it end last night after we… I mean, you’re still here, right? So technically, it’s still the same day. So maybe it ends when you leave? Or maybe when the day ends? Or–”
Only after his tangled sentence had fully escaped him did he look up.
Jisung realized that Minho was going to let him be the judge of this.
Jisung looked at him. His heart pounded mercilessly. Memories of last night were flooding him. The heat, the gravity, the dizzying collapse of everything he thought he knew. The fraying of the whole universe. He had never felt more exposed. Or more alive.
This was such a terrible idea.
