An Addams Family Christmas

Summary:

Flakes of snow had started to drop as the pack waited for lurch to arrive.

Enid, her mate Wednesday, their pup Agnes and Agnes’s bully, turned friend turned… something more Jess.

It’s Christmas time with the Addams, but when that includes a rainbow werewolf, an invisible gremlin and a troubled and deeply dysphoric werewolf, problems are going to emerge…

Notes:

so this series has gotten quite off track lol, originally it was just gonna be Enid getting horny over Wednesdays smell, and then jealous over Tyler and killing him…

And now I’ve introduced a second couple of disaster lesbians lol.

Also yes I know Christmas was ages ago, it’s not exactly seasonal now lol, but I had mocks just after Christmas and so couldnt write.

The fic does explore body dysphoria through a werewolf metaphor quite extensively so TW there

I’ve got most of it written so there shouldn’t be too long between chapters

Chapter Text

Flakes of snow had started to drop as the pack waited for Lurch to arrive.

Enid, her mate Wednesday, their pup Agnes and Agnes’s bully, turned friend turned… something more Jess.

All around other students stood, some wearing Santa hats, and all wearing terrible jumpers.

Wednesday had glared at her when she saw what she was wearing.

A stylised Christmas design of her own wolf form.

But Enid had seen a gentle glimmer in her eye.

Enid knew how much Wednesday loved her wolf.

Her breath was caught as she saw the Addams family hearse pulling in.

Yes she had already stayed over during the summer, but this time she was bringing two younger teenagers with her.

One a tiny red headed agent of chaos who deep down was incredibly troubled and just wanted a family.

And a terrified and traumatised dysphoric werewolf.

Enid really did know how to pick them, didnt she…

The hearse stopped, and out stepped lurch who immediately moved to strap their luggage to the roof of the hearse…

The hearse was a tight fit for the five of them, Agnes nestled in between Wednesday and Enid, the could help but
notice that Enid kept glancing at her phone, as if she were expecting a message.

The journey took several hours and gave Agnes plenty of opportunities to glance at Jess.

Her long platinum hair cascading down her t shirt, a hoodie half pulled over her, unzipped.

She could see one of Jess’s shoulders and her biceps, muscular from her wolf biology.

She liked Jess, but those feelings were complicated.

Their first kiss had been catastrophic when Jess had freaked out about her wolfish nature presenting.

She had fled, locked herself in a bathroom and hurt herself.

The memory of it still caused Agnes’s chest to hurt, and her breath to catch.

But, she was going to get to spend Christmas with her, she was going to get to spend Christmas with her pack, who had been so good to her, taking her in despite her shitty parents…

And hopefully they’d be able to help Jess too…

Jess felt the hearse pull to the side and saw them pass an ornate gate.

“We have arrived” Wednesday announced, sitting on the bench opposite, Enid sat adjacent and with Agnes cuddled between them.

Jess thought Agnes really was very cute, curled orange hair, currently pulled into two twin braids mirroring those of Wednesday, and those huge green eyes.

Jess also hadn’t been able to ignore the glances that Agnes had been making, she was happy to be noticed, and her heart raced knowing that someone was attracted to her.

But she also knew part of that attraction was tied to a body thats existence was tied to the wolf, to her fast metabolism, her natural strength.

Jess turned in the seat to look out the front and saw it come into view.

A majestic manor, huge and with gothic architecture not too dissimilar to that of Nevermore.

The hearse can’t to a stop, and lurch paced round to open the door

Stepping out Jess saw two figures walking arm in arm down the stairs to the manor.

A short squat man, and a tall curvaceous one.

She recognised them from parents weekend, they’d caused an… issue with Jess’s uncles sister (who also happened to be Enids mother) Esther Sinclair.

“Oh my shining beacon of death” the man exclaimed gesturing at Wednesday.

“And my little bug zapper” Gomez Addams continued at Pugsley, before turning to Enid, and beaming.

“And my darlings florescent wolf” and then he was hugging her.

“And you my little flame” he turned to Agnes. “I hope you’ve been trying better in your schooling since we’re paying now” Gomez wagged his finger, playfully.

“And here’s the young woman who we have heard so much about” morticia added, sweeping towards jess, bending down slightly to meet the platinum blondes eye level

“I really hope we can help with your… problem”

Jess just nodded slightly, almost imperceptibly.

“You really don’t mind?” Enid started to babble.

“I know that Wednesdays only just taken me as her partner and then it’s the first Christmas and I’ve already brought two children with us, who aren’t even technically family-“

“Nonsense darling, we want nothing more than to spend Christmas with our grandchildren” Morticia interrupted.

Wednesday spluttered at her last word, and Agnes snarked “we’re only three years younger than them.”

“My dears,” Gomez swept his arms across the group. “Family is not blood, that is merely a suggestion. It is not whom you are born to, not even who raised you, it knows no bounds of age, or race or gender, but it is who you love. Enid, you are an Addams, and, you are a wolf, any pups that you claim are similarly so.”

Enid pulled Gomez into a tight embrace, sobbing quietly into his neck.

“Come in, please” Morticia proclaimed, sweeping the five of them up the stairs.

“Jessica, Jess, this evening i would like to talk to you about the flower, Pugsley can you please show her and Agnes to the guest rooms” Morticia added.

“Not going to be in this room” Pugsley stated, gesturing at a door, “got a ghoul in it” Pugsley explained at the girls.

“And this one…” a whoosh of air, and screaming as Pugsley opened a different door, “just as I thought, haunted,”

Eventually he found two rooms and hurried off saying something about booby trapping Wednesdays room.

Jess found it all ever so slightly disquieting.

The house was huge, the bedroom she was in large.

She felt disconnected from her pack here.

But she’d been welcomed in, and Wednesdays parents had practically declared her a grandchild alongside Agnes…

That was something that would need straightening out if they managed to fully figure out their feelings for each other.

But could the Addams be her new pack? And what about her old? Could she betray them like this?

No, the Addams weren’t a pack, not in the same way despite how Enid styled herself.

Enid Wednesday and Agnes, they were a pack, but not Jess.

But what they were was a family, and maybe Jess needed a family over a pack.

A knock on the door.

“Come in,” Jess ventured, and the tall graceful figure of morticia swept in.

“Greetings my dear, is now a good time to talk about the flower?” Jess nodded.

Enid had already given her a rundown, but morticia explanation was better.

It would dull her wolf senses, lower her metabolism and stop her scent glands from presenting, but it could not stop her wolfing out under the full moon.

But, if she were lucky, when she wolfed out the monstrous instincts would be sated, and her mind would remain human.

She would be starting the treatment in a few days, and for the first time in years Jess felt a small part of the weight she carried lift.
