Asgore Dreemur vs. King K. Rool
These two are both the kings of a group of people who have misfortune heaped upon them. However, that’s where the similarities end.
While Asgore is a good man forced to make terrible decisions for the sake of his people, K. Rool is a nutcase who revels in how rotten he is. While monsterkind loves and respects Asgore, the Kremling Krew mostly follow K. Rool out of fear. And while Asgore uses magic as his main source of attack, K. Rool prefers using technology and his own brute strength to win fights. Essentially, Asgore is a monster king, and K. Rool is a monstrous king.
They also have their own ways of breaking the fourth wall (Asgore breaking the MERCY button and K. Rool’s fake kredits).
