Summary
Sylvain listened to Dimitri speak, voice soft, like he wasn’t practiced at this. Behind him, Felix glanced around the cafe until finally his eyes landed on Dimitri and he froze. That was readable, alright, and it wasn’t anything good.
Dimitri, looking down at his mug, was none the wiser. Sylvain felt acutely nosy, but before he could think of something to say, Felix turned on his heel and marched back out of the coffee shop. The front door chimed again, and it would be like it never happened, if Sylvain could stop thinking about how it was the most emotion he’d ever seen on his face.
