Chapter Text
In the beginning of time, five special Cookies were created, each unique in their own way and with a clear purpose.
Fount of Knowledge, the one who would grant the blessing of wisdom and learning.
Herald of Change, the one who would bring change into the world.
Salt of Solidarity, who would guide Cookies to help one another and overcome trials through unity.
Sugar of Happiness, who would bring joy to every Cookie in the world.
And Flour of Volition, who would fulfill the wishes of Cookies.
For many centuries, even millennia, these five Cookies led their kind into a constant era of prosperity. But the cruel passage of time is capable of wearing down even the hardest material. Little by little, they began to lose sight of the purpose of their creation, and the silence of their creators only made it worse.
Questions began to degrade their answers. Change stopped being something novel and became something tearing and painful. Solidarity was no longer the norm, replaced by self-interest. Happiness felt more frivolous than genuine, and wishes ceased to be satisfying—always craving more.
Just when they stood on the brink of collapse, each of them found a light that gave them hope that everything could be better. For a time, things seemed to return to how they once were, regaining their original meaning. But once again, the cruel passage of time swept away everything in its path, and that light was extinguished.
Yet they knew that light would be born again. They only had to remain patient… and wait.
