Summary
Everyone thought that they loved her, even the ones that didn't. At least they did so momentarily, because they did not know her. Her detective and her Shinigami were of course exceptions to such ignorance. Yet, the detective too had fallen for her. So, Light wondered rather intelligently, 'Why does Ryuk have to be an exception to the rule, just because he was a Shinigami?'
Yes, perhaps he too would love Light even after knowing how horrible she truly was. Why the hell not?
Informed by such thoughts, Light began investing into Ryuk's well-hidden need for love because she was thorough. Ryuk's emotions were to be her insurance and so, she nurtured them rather well. Of course, it was for an entirely different reason that such intensive efforts had been made. Yes, the seeds of seduction were in fact sown with a completely contrary intention in mind. But such intentions did not serve the love-lost teenager any longer. So, she played her final ace and prayed that Ryuk's infatuation with her would do for her what her love for the detective had failed to do for him.

”I can’t do this again.” It’s a plea for mercy.
”You’d do it for me, wouldn’t you? You love me.” Satoru stares up at him, hands keeping Itadori’s legs apart.
Itadori falls silent. He stares up at the ceiling, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Satoru can never be too greedy with him and it's intoxicating. He can be his most selfish, revolting human self and Itadori lets it happen. Always embraces it, no matter how much logic and reason scream otherwise.
Instead of letting Itadori speak, Satoru pushes his nose against the slight bulge in Itadori’s pants.
“Remember the first time I did this? You could hardly last a minute.” He chuckles, savoring the fervent, panicked, reverent look in Itadori’s eyes.
An older Yuuji travels back in time, but he’s not as thrilled about it as you might expect.
