Joseph fidgeted mindlessly with his free hand as the prosthetic was kept on the wheel. How long had it been? He'd been driving since god knows when, and they haven't seen a hotel in a good while.
The old man turned his gaze to Avdol beside him for a moment, noting how he meditated at that moment. Exhaling, he kept his gaze back on the road.
Jotaro was seated in the middle of Polnareff and Kakyoin, the Frenchman being on his left, and Noriaki to his right. A string of quiet complaints about the heat left the Frenchman's lips, tugging at his tube top.
Feeling a weight on his shoulder, Jotaro blinked in surprise at the sight of Kakyoin. He must've dozed off again — ever since that baby they found, he'd drift off randomly and later dismiss it at something unimportant.
"Nori," he whispered, moving his gaze from the fiery hair to those closed eyes.
"Hm? Ah, sorry, I fell asleep…" Kakyoin apologised softly before being pulled back onto hard muscle.
"No, it's fine, you don't have to move. You can… continue sleeping, I didn't mean to wake you."
Keeping his gaze off the taller for a moment he nodded discreetly and let himself enjoy the shared body heat. Star Platinum's hand materialised behind Kakyoin and held him steady by his waist as opposed to the stand user himself.
The larger teen pulled his hat back downwards to cover his flushed face and let his mind be empty to enjoy the other's presence.
Adjusting the rearview mirror, Joseph caught said scene and chuckled lightly to himself. His grandson had found himself in a developing relationship.
