Chapter 6 Story Possibilities

Summary:

The real question is why we didn't see it sooner; maybe this is why it's important to understand that looks can be misleading. A fool might wear the crown while we act as the fools. Explore further for insights, or decide to stay in the dark, the decision is yours.

Chapter Text

With Poppy in certain peril and the orphans dead , along with the player being immersed in poppy gel and later brought back to life by Giblet, it seems Dr. Sawyer will reluctantly join us against the prototype. I envision the game taking an unexpected turn where we discover that the prototype longs to regain its humanity, and we are the vessel it desires for escape. I think the most important thing to remember is why would the Prototype want Sawyer around, I mean if he’s smart enough to literally make an entire team of people disappear for 10 years and no one came to check, why isn’t he able to do the one thing he desired most to leave. The answer is simple, if there are any other witnesses, it means that he could be recaptured by other divisions of playtime co or even by other scientists, this leads him to concoct a plan that has been executed in the first 5 chapters

Despite allowing its followers to attempt our destruction, we remain unharmed; the prototype had countless chances to eliminate us. I believe the dialogue between Poppy and the player is a clever misdirection, suggesting that the prototype is playing a long game. It was already aware of the train and how to obliterate Safe Haven, yet it spares us, even after killing Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy. The perplexing truth is that it doesn’t require them.

The stark reality is that the factory is likely doomed, regardless of the circumstances. If Ollie is indeed the prototype, there are no doubts about it; he has been observing us for a long time, lurking in the shadows. Isn’t it peculiar that he killed us, then submerged us in poppy gel? I suspect we are a hybrid of toy and human, and perhaps he killed us to validate his theories. Our revival indicates we are not entirely human, akin to the larger beings.

I theorize that our character was once a human employee who intended to reveal the truth, but somehow ended up in the factory's innovation wing. This could explain why some recognize us while others do not. Harley Sawyer isn’t always in the loop, as evidenced by his surprise at our progress. Instead, I believe the prototype’s ultimate goal is to merge with us. Consider this: what use does his current form have outside the factory?

All the clues leading to chapter 6 suggest that the prototype knows far more than we perceive. It has been orchestrating our actions from the beginning, and its theatrical displays of violence and aggression serve to prevent us from questioning the situation. What if all those fortunate breaks were not mere coincidences?
