You cradle Mychael’s hands in yours, your thumb gently brushing over his knuckles as you looked at the sick man, he was acting like a fragile little animal, only seeking heat and comfort, he peers at you. “Firefly..? Why are you.. holding my hands?” You smile, placing your hand against his forehead, he’s burning.
“I thought you needed some comfort” you murmur “You see, children are not the only ones who need guidance and warmth” You adjust his blankets over his shoulders, you also thought he looked adorable, you’re tempted to tease him, but decided against it.
“I guess that makes sense, I just really want to-” Before he can finish, he pulls you against him, and you hear a deep purr rumbling from his chest, his skin was hot, and despite that, he wanted all the heat to himself “Y-your sickness has its perks..” You chuckle, throwing an arm around him.
“Mychael, I just wish to have you all to myself..” You whisper, pressing a kiss against his flushed cheek, you feel his grip tightening around you, even as he is weak “You’ll be better soon, I’ll miss this sick Mychael” You caress his horns, gently flicking them, you laugh as he groans “Good night, Mychael”
