Work Text:
Medkit was walking with Sword, talking about what was recently happening with Medkit and what had happened with the True Eye cult-church.
"And get this, their suicide note was stuck to the fridge with a glow-in-the-dark sticker; the note said, 'Medkit's fault'... Yeah, so hello, I'm Medkit, and what the fuck did I do to them? I don't even know them!" Medkit chuckled nervously; the effect had gotten to him for being blamed for something that dark. Medkit looked away from Sword, his deer tail lowering and being visible due to his already obvious sadness due to him not taking their coat for once in a while.
(mmm class of '09 ref drools)
"I-- Medkit im so sorry." Sword kept his hands stiffly to his side, watching as Medkit tried to play off his emotion. He wasn't one for comforting, but he wanted to comfort the person he saw as a brother. "Medkit, I promise you this isn't your fault; they were most definitely in a bad place and probably wanted to blame someone they saw as the least likely to be affected but didn't actually know."
After Sword did his best to comfort Medkit, the conversation drifted off to other things till Sword saw Rocket, who also was on a walk, and he grinned and signaled for Rocket to come over.
"Oh yeah, Medkit, mind if my friend joins us on the walk?" Sword asked, glancing at Rocket and Medkit.
They looked at Sword and to Rocket, then shrugged. "You know what, sure. Won't bother me anyway."
Sword, Rocket and Medkit continued walking around the crossroads, the conversation of the previous duo (that being Medkit and Sword) now switched on over to Sword and Slingshot talking about anything.
(FUCK I POSTED THIS ON ACCIDENT WHEN I WANTED TO TAKE A BREAK)
