Daphnie Evergroove has never been an Avenger.
She works in the shadows for S.H.I.E.L.D., extracting information from people who would rather die than talk. Her ability allows her to walk through the memories of others, uncovering secrets that were never meant to see the light of day. It's a job that has left its mark on her, but one she's learned to live with.
When a dangerous individual catches the Avengers' attention, Daphnie is brought in to help track them down. Reluctantly thrown into a team of heroes who aren't sure what to make of her, she finds herself at the center of an investigation that grows more complicated with every lead.
What starts as another mission quickly becomes something far more personal. As old memories resurface and long-buried truths begin to unravel, Daphnie is forced to confront parts of her past she thought she'd left behind.
Some secrets should stay hidden. Others refuse to be forgotten.
