Summary
When rival Overlords make an attempt on Valentino's life, they come entirely too close to success. Battered and bloodied, the pimp Overlord hides out in a random Sinner's apartment, only to be aided by its resident. Not out of sympathy, but out of pure pragmatism. Unfortunately for the witch Sinner known as Vertigo, this triggers a series of events which drag her deeper and deeper into a cyclone of abuse, contracts, and manipulation. Valentino's world of opulence, slime and seduction is the exact realm Vertigo tried to escape a long time ago, and his burgeoning obsession forces her to confront elements of her past she isn't ready to face.
Things will get far, far worse before they get better.
