Summary
Ava Silva, the adoptive daughter of Baron Hastings, has just received news that she is to be married to a Marquess. In true Silva fashion, she mixed up the names, and believes herself to be betrothed to the Marquess of Worchestor, a near seventy year-old decrepit old man who apparently has a penchant for young women. Desperate, Ava decides to take matters into her own hands and hires a woman for a one-night stand to lose her virginity before her marriage to a dreadfully old and cranky Marquess she has never met before, convinced that that would be enough to scare off the man. Unbeknownst to her, the Marquess of Winchester, her real betrothed, comes calling the same night to introduce herself to Ava, and Ava mistakes Beatrice for the woman she has hired.
